Third person POV
Fuyuhiko found himself to be a very odd person. For example, whenever he sat down and told himself to sketch something, he'd end up ripping it to shreds before he even outlined it.
Also working at a beach ice cream stand while being lactose intolerant is pretty odd. To him anyway. It was a good way to get money at the moment for the blond. He was a current second year college student and was working his hardest to get his associates degree.
If that wasn't enough stress for him, the freckled teen decided to get himself a part-time job which deteriorated his sanity way more than Fuyuhiko would have imagined.
But if there was any pro that swam around the pool of cons, it would be getting to watch Kazuichi souda surfing and messing around with his friends every Monday and Wednesday.
Both Fuyuhiko and Kazuichi went to the same college but even there the blond wasn't able to strike up a conversation with the pinkette, and it infuriated him the most.
Fuyuhiko was aware of his sudden liking towards Kazuichi though he didn't know what to do about it. All he could do was stare at him like a dumb puppy and hope for the best on never getting caught.
But things never went the way Fuyuhiko wanted.
It was a regular Tuesday afternoon. The blond served more ice cream than the previous day but that was understandable. Not a lot of people came to the beach on Mondays which was completely fair.
Fuyuhiko sat back and watched the pinkette dry himself with a towel and getting smacked on the back by his friends. The blond sighed softly. He had sort of wished to be apart of kazuichi's friend group, though aware that he didn't have any friends himself he'd be alright being apart of any friend group.
"Gah!" The blond nearly fell backwards on his chair. Unfortunately his eyes had apparently locked with kazuichi's, meaning they held eye contact for at least threee seconds before the pinkette rushed over to the stand with a grin on his face.
Fuyuhiko on the other hand felt like he was having a mental breakdown inside his head. Despite the cold weather, he began sweating bullets and his heart beat seemed to accelerate and even skip beats.
Fuyuhiko's POV
"Hey! I know you!" I wasn't given any time to before myself before Kazuichi bolted up to my stand with a large toothy grin plastered on his face.
"O-oh," I managed to stutter out. "Uh, You too?"
This was by far the worst situation I've ever been in, and to make it any worse, this guy was shirtless and ripped as hell.Even if I didn't want look at his abs, this guy was a whole giant and blocked every possible viewing spot.
"Didn't know you worked here," he said. I assumed he was trying to start conversation which was good for me since I had no idea what to say or do in this situation.
"You seem like a pretty cool dude," Kazuichi grinned. "Wanna hang around with us?" The pinkette pointed behind him at his group of friends.
"Um, I can't leave my stand," I mumbled. "Gotta sling ice cream, unfortunately." That was an obvious lie. I mean the only people at the beach at 7:00 pm were Kazuichi, his friends, and an old couple that seemed to already be packing up there belongings.
Kazuichi seemed to be aware of my lie and laughed it off. "I'm not that bad," he laughed, which made me blush way more than I already was.
"Ok, well, I'm really wearing the proper attire to be swimming so." That wasn't a lie. A dress shirt, skinny jeans and converse would be immediately messed up if in contact with water.
"I guess that's fair." The pinkette then handed me a ripped piece of paper. I took it, confused and intrigued.
"What's this," I asked.
He smiled again. "It's my number," he said. "Ibuki's hosting a party and I'd like you to come."
I felt frozen, not cold, but stiff. "I, uh, don't do, parties," I eventually said wanting to break the ice.
"You do now!" The pinkette crosses his arms and leaned closer to me.
"Well uh,"
"Cmon! You can't say you don't know me, you stare at me everyday."
I felt deep guilt and embarrassment. "You've gotta be shitting me right now," I mumbled. I turned away from him, mentally cursing and facepalming myself for getting caught doing something so extremely stupid.
"Hey, don't be mad, I find it kinda cute," I heard him say, which actually made me feel a bit better, and confused. "I uh," he started, then he turned behind him to watch his friend waving at him and cheering.
"You what?" I sat up straight in my chair.
He stalled for a moment before answering. "I'll tell you, if you come to that party."
I sighed. Then shrugged. "I'm going to regret it, yeah, but sure. Whatever."
"Cool!" Kazuichi gave me a thumbs up and ran back to his friend group like a little kid, it made me laugh a bit.
I crossed my arms and laid my head back. "I'm going to fucking kill myself right now," I mumbled.
