Hi Everyone!
Before this chapter starts, I was going through my old phone and completely forgot about this app. I was about to delete it when I saw all the notifications from this story. Turns out I had another chapter that was drafted back in 2017 so I thought I might as well post it. I don't remember where I was going with this but here you go 😂
Enjoy 💜

Chapter 6
Cammie POV

So me, and everyone else are at dinner
"So Cam, I think there's been enough small talk for me to move on to the serious topics I've missed out on." Grant tries to be subtle, not interrupting everyone else's conversations. This obviously fails as we now have the entire table's attention.

"Sure like what?" I reply

"Well I've missed a lot since being undercover but I really need to know..." he pauses, I know it's just for dramatic effect, "Has Mum's cooking gotten any better?"
Our friends release their breaths they were holding.
I roll my eyes, "Of course not! She set off the fire alarm last week. She was cooking pasta!" Everyone cracked up laughing.
"Yeah, sounds like mum" Grant agreed.

"Okay, okay. I'm happy we're all mates and stuff now but I really need a backstory for this whole situation." Bex exclaimed, gesturing to me and Grant.
"Well it hasn't always been this way, when we were kids, there was a group of enemies that were threatening our parents. We were never really told much about them, but we know that enough went down for our parents to decide it wasn't safe for Cameron and I to be together. So Mum and Cammie moved to Gallagher and I moved here with Dad."
Grant's head lowered and his voice became softer, "After that, we only saw each other on rare occasions or special missions. Even then, Grant could never be known as a Morgan."
"It wasn't until Dad went missing that Mum, Grant and I thought it was about time to become a family again." I continued.

Liz gave me one of her giant hugs, "I'm so sorry Cammie".
"Wow, that's heavy" Bex said.
"Yeah, man I'm sorry bout that dude." Zach put his hand on Grant's shoulder.
There was this weird silence, which I hated but was quickly interrupted by Jonas' frantic tapping on his laptop.

Then as Macey does, she exclaimed "You guys have been to Paris! Wait, you own four houses in Paris!" Grant and I chuckle to each other. We look to see Jonas with a list of not all but some of mine and Grant's missions from over the years.
"Yeah we've been pretty much everywhere, but we never saw each other fir more than a week at a time" I explained.
"But that meant I never had to put up with all your annoying hobbies for that long, so you know, bright side" Grant grinned, whilst I rolled my eyes.
"Which annoying hobby, the way she organises all her converse by which are more useful in the field?" Bex chimes in. Grant laughing in response, "Mainly when she searches every building entirely for secret passageways" the whole group laughed, Zach perking up a bit at the mention of this.
"Seriously, the amount of stairs I've climbed just for the 'secret passageway' to lead to the roof is ridiculous" Grant exclaimed.

Dinner is over and swiftly everyone leaves the hall to go to their rooms.

I end up walking behind the group out of the hall and Zach slows so he's walking next to me. "So you find hidden passageways too?" He asks.
"I've already found 6 and I haven't even left the hall" I reply. Zach looks around, I can see him counting the five I've seen, and looking confused about the sixth one. If he's never stood at the podium then he won't find it, but oh well he needs the challenge.

"Well maybe later I could show you around and we'll see if you can find all the passageways I've found over the years" Zach suggests.
"Oh, I'm sure I will I might even find some new ones for you" I smirk.
He smirks back, "Doubt it. See you later, Gallagher Girl"
