Me: So, I'm writing another fanfiction, I guess.

Sebastian: What would it be about, my lady?

Me: OH MAW GAWD!!!! SEBASTIAN!!!
*Runs to him in chibi form and glimpse his head*

Sebastian: Wha-!?

Ciel: Please refrain from glomping my butler.

Me: Oh! Sorry Ciel! Hey, how did you guys get in these author's notes, anyway?

Sebastian: We're not sure, ourselves. As far as we know, you control everything that happens here.

Ciel: Let's just be glad that soul reaper isn't here.
*Types up Grell into existence*

Grell: BASSY!

Sebastian: Dear God...

Me: Grell, disclaimer please!

Grell: Shelby doesn't either Black Butler or any references made! All she owns is Her OC's!

Girl P.O.V

The rain poured out of the dark grey clouds, pounding down buckets on a never ending Tuesday. My stark black hair, cut in a pageboy style, stuck close to my drenched face. Even through the gloomy morning light, my eyes, red as the blood running through my veins, stood out for miles. This served as a constant reminder to keep my head down as I ran through the alleyway.

I silently thanked Chuck for the seventh time that day that I was flat-chested. Most girls of fifteen years would be practically in tears at the thought. However, it served my uses perfectly. I needed to wear slacks, as a dress would never fair well with all the running away I do; and a girl who wears slacks is greatly frowned upon in today's society, so the only choice I had, if I wanted to live, was to portray myself as a male.

Rose had always warned me to look where I walk, and he was most definitely correct. I found myself colliding head-on with what appeared to be a mass of black and white. My head spinning, I attempted to pull myself off the ground. The man I had practically run over was already on his feet again. As I struggled upright, I saw the man had on a butlers uniform, along with black hair and a spilled basket of food.

I tried to sputter out a comprehendable response, but my tounge had turned to jello. I hadn't time for this, not at all. I internally cursed the incompetent fool who had left me here. If only he could just show up and save the day like he normally does, I'd have all the time in the world.

Two pairs of running footsteps could be heard cutting through the calming echo of raindrops. Two men with a broad build came rounding the corner. The butler glanced at them with a polite curiosity blossoming across his face. I stared at the open street just feet away, unable to convince myself to move. I was one hundred percent frozen with fear. One thousand years traveling through time and space and still I couldn't preparw myself to face the feinds that took my mother away.

"Hey! Butler! You have our kid!", the one man, a fellow named Maury yelled. I looked up at the tall figure next to me, my face filled with a desperation so clearly represented that he narrowed his eyes as he looked back that the two men chasing me.

"Why, two gentlemen, I'm afraid this is my young ward.", the man said.

My eyes widened.

"Impossible! He ran this way we're sure!", the other henchman, named Ross exclaimed.

"I'm afraid I came across no such boy.", the butler said calmly,"Why don't you check the garden a few blocks down? There are many places to hide there.".

Slowly, I watched in amazement as the two men back out of the alley, heading towards the gardens. I breathed out a sigh of relief, my limbs feeling numb.

"May I ask why those two men were looking for you?", the butler asked. I jumped at the sudden voice. Turning, I tried to come up with an explanation.

"I.....uh......um......they........I mean........", my voice trailed off as I tried futiley to remember which time period they had left me in. It wasn't the 2000's, I could tell easily enough, but I don't think it was the 1900's either. And then, the butler spoke with a British accent, so it couldn't be america. In the end, I decided it was England in the 1800's, where I was born and spent the first fifteen years of my life.

"I was caught stealing from the trash.", I muttered finally after a few seconds.

The butler stared at me for a moment longer, apparently unhappy with my response. Whatever he was thinking, though, he didn't voice it. Instead, he turned to the street.

"Well, you better be on your way then.", he said. I nodded briskly. In a moment, he had left the alley, and I was left to stand and brood over what the hell had just happened.

It was impossible. Entirely and utterly impossible. Yet, it was there, plain and clear in her eyes. Only the child of a demon would have something like that written in her eyes.

Not only that, but that were my cold as well. Red as the bloodred moon on a cold night. I couldn't rap my head around it. There was no way, absolutely none. I had never conceived with a human, it was considered a treachery to do so.

And yet, there was the proof, plain and clear. One thing was for sure, she was definitely a human/demon hybrid. But was she mine?

I didn't like the answer.

I pursed my lips, so wondering how the yipping master would like my excuse for my tardiness.

I started back down the alley, heading in a direction opposite of the Gardens. I was determined to find that sonofabitch who had left me here, even if I had to summon bloody Metatron.

I felt a throbbing in my chest. Fuck! In all the recent madness, I had forgotten about the dreamshade!

It started to throb greatly, I clutched it, but it did no good. My head spun, and the world started to spin. The world went black, but I had enough awareness to realise I had vomited before I went entirely.

When I awoke, I noticed the things. One, out was no longer raining. Two, I was cold, over cold. And three, there was someone with me. I looked over to see a very strange man indeed. He had long, red hair, red glasses, a red outfit, and sharp, shark like teeth. This was turning out be a very interesting day.

"No, no, no! What am I going to do?!", he said in a high pitched, slightly whiny but amused voice. He looked over at me.

"Ah! Your awake! Well I suppose that can be awkward! Let me introduce myself, I'm Grell Sutcliffe, and you, Autumn Michaelis, are on the to-die list. Only when I got here, I couldn't take your soul! So I said to myself, 'Oh why oh why must I get the hard cases.' So, I looked into your Cinematic Record, and Ta-Da! I found it! Your half demon! Henceforth, until you give up your demon half, you can't die!", he said enthusiastically.

I abandoned my facade I had put up for so long at that moment.

"What?", I said, dumbfounded.

"Ah! So you can talk! Anyways...", he said, looking at his clipboard,"You can come with me for now. Surely, William will know what to do!".

He grabbed my arm, and started running at inhuman speed.

Third person P.O.V
Sebastian walked into his young masters study.

"You're late.", Ciel said, clearly annoyed.

"Yes. I'm apologize, young master. I ran into a dilemma on the way. Speaking of which, I have news.".
