Just friends

I run to the bathroom to get ready to meet Taylor, he'll pick me up at 5, I have 1 hour. I took a shower, get a skirt and a top cropped and made a simple make up. At 4:50pm I was ready. I went down stairs to wait for him. At 5pm he arrived, just on point like always.

- Hi Tay! You look amazing! - He said smiling

- Hey! Thanks - I said with my cheeks probably burning red

- So, where you want to go?

- Starbucks maybe? I have no idea - we laugh

We went to the car and Taylor opened the door for me and I thanked him while got in. He got in on the driver's side and turned on the engine. We keep in silence till we arrived at Starbucks.

- So, how is life? - I said to break the silence

- It’s great, a lot of work what I really like. What about you?

- Well, now we're planning my next tour and I'm really excited! I can't wait to be on stage again and hear my swifties singing my new songs with me.

- I imagine it. I have sure it'll be amazing. Do you want to walk on the beach? - He asked grabbing our cups

- Sure - I answer smiling

We walked by the beach for like 2 hours and we talked a lot about what happened in our lives on the last 2 years. He told me about his sister playing volleyball and about his mom's crazy scenes, she's really funny. Suddenly his phone rings. 

- Sorry, Tay. I need get this call – he said

- It’s ok, no problem – I said and smiled

He went away to have his conversation; it could probably be his girlfriend, I mean, why wouldn’t she call him? Especially if he’s hanging out with me, by now have a lot of pics of us on internet, she probably saw them and this is the reason why she’s calling him. Oh Gosh, I’m just getting trouble to me and also to Taylor, Marie’s probably jealous and mad at him. I shouldn’t accepted his invitation and so I decided to go home without say anything to him.

When I arrived home, Selena was there waiting for me with Meredith in her arms.

- Where you were? – She asked

- I was with Taylor, we went to Starbucks and we walked by the beach. How long are you waiting for me? And how you get in my house?

- Hmmm with Taylor? Walked by the beach? So romantic!

- Stop it, ok? He had a phone call and it was probably his girlfriend, don’t forget about her, ok?! And more, Taylor and I just hung out as friends, nothing more. Now answer my others questions.

- Ok, if you’re saying… No, I arrived have like 15 minutes and your bodyguard opened the door for me – she gave a malicious smile and I knew what would be coming – Taylor, tell me everything about today! I want to know eve-ry-thi-ng!

- I don’t have anything to say, stop it, we’re friends, we hang out as friends and this is it!

- You didn’t feel anything? Like, for sure? ‘cause I think you still miss his than skin, his sweet smile… you never run from one of your exes before. Tay c’mon, don’t lie to me, don’t lie to yourself!

 - Wait, what? You’re getting me confused! I don’t know, may I miss him, may not. I can’t say, now stop and lets go cook some cookies.
