Chapter Two

Lexi POV ~

When we walked into Trevor's house his mom was making lunch. My mom and Trevor's mom are pretty close so we are always over their house and his mom loves me. Trevor and I sat at the table as his mom handed us our pizza.

"What was up with you and Nash, why were you talking?" questioned Trevor

"Oh nothing he shut my locker by accident and he was just saying sorry." i said mentally freaking out

*The Next Day*

I woke up to Tuesday by Drake blaring out my phone speaker acknowledging me to wake up. I moped out of bed walking in to my bathroom and putting my contacts in so i can see. I quickly shifted though my closet finding my favorite black high waisted shorts and my Finding Nemo crop top. I walked back into my bathroom getting out my curling wand to make the perfect beach wave. After thirty minuets i moved on to my makeup putting on my foundation mascara and a little bit of eyeliner. I grabbed a pop tart and put on my galaxy vans then walked out the door. Trevor was waiting on my porch for us to walk to school like we did everyday.

"Hey Trev." I said tiredly

"Hey beautiful." He said as i blushed

We walked into school seeing Nash with his best friend Cameron and a bunch of girls. I walked to my locker and got my things for the day. My first period was history and i had that with Trevor, so i guess it was pretty good. When it came to last period I had science, again with Trevor.

"Good afternoon class, today we are going to be doing group projects."

Me and Trevor made eye contact as all the girls rushed to Nash.

"You will be picking your partners name out of a jar" said Mr.Reed.

"Great" I mumbled to myself

As people were being called off it was Nash's turn to pick. In my head i was thinking please no.

"My partner is Lexi" he said with a smirk

Perfect. This is going to be the longest day of my life. As the bell rings I ran straight to my locker but Nash was already there leaning against my locker.

" So.. wanna come over my house?"

"Yeah, i guess i have to." I grabbed my things and walked with him.

Nash's POV~

As we were walking to my house I couldn't help myself but smile. I didn't think she was going to say yes by the way she ran out the class room. When we got to my house i tried running up the stairs quickly before Hayes or Will could say anything, but that's never going to happen because they stopped us right there. I was so nervous on what Will was going to say and Hayes just sat their smiling.

" Is this your girlfriend?" Hayes nudged

"NO, were just friends."

When we got to my room we sat down taking out what we needed.

"So, were friends?" Lexi asked

"Well i was kinda hoping we could be more than just friends" I blurted out

She just giggled and then there was awkward silence. We started the project. The assignment was about endangered animals and we had to do a whole poster on it and everything. I was about to ask her if she had paint at her house but when i looked up nothing came out my mouth i saw this gorgeous girl sitting on my bed with her mouth slightly open writing a bunch of words probably deep in thought.
