"Wake up, I want coffee." Grayson said nudging my shoulder. I groaned and rolled my eyes. It's 8 in the morning, why can't we wait until 10 to get coffee.
"It's going to be embarrassing, I spilt coffee on her Grayson." I say truthfully.
"I don't care, what if she's not working today?" He says unapologetically. I shrug my shoulders while he walks up and stands up throwing a grey v-neck and jeans and my schools wrestling jacket. Pretty much one of my everyday outfits. I grab the keys to my Tesla and take Grayson out to the car. I pass by Arden, my "mega music producer" of a brother jamming out to some trash music which makes his 'client' sound like a robot. The words don't make sense and the way he's dancing looks like a bird.

I've never understood why my father approves of the music producing company because it's probably going to flop and it's a huge waste of money. My father rented out a recording studio from someone. I scoff as he walks closer to me with his phone raised in the air. He glares and I do a chuckle and head to my car.

I love my coffee, trust me. But, how would you like it if you spilt coffee over some girls uniform and ruined her face day? That's very embarrassing. I know she appreciated the ride because her mom didn't pick her up. She doesn't owe me anything and plus it got me away from my crazy brothers and my father who is too much to handle. We drive for about 10 minutes. There's a closer coffee shop but that closed down and this coffee shop is the newest thing and coolest 'trendiest thing in town'. Maybe they're correct? My cappuccino was pretty good, probably better than any other coffee shop. It's just coffee though, why does it deserve a huge chunk of recognition.

There should be better places bettering the world or getting the homeless off the street. I can obviously say I'm fortunate but the money my family wastes on 'hit record deals' or just blowing stuff they don't need is pretty stupid.

We pass by a couple stores and we finally pull up to tour dè cafe. I park the car in the parking lot and we walk into the coffee shop. I take a deep breath before walking in, I pretty much ruined her day. He hits me on the shoulder and starts to chuckle.
"What you nervous?" He says jokingly I shake my head 'no' and do a scoff. Yet, I am nervous.

We stand in line and I immediately spot Auden. I didn't forget her name. I see her smile at me.

For what it seemed like hours, since the business man had to order what seems to be his entire workplace their own coffees. Grayson takes a step behind and lets me go first. I roll my eyes at him and then make slight eye contact with Auden.

She smiles and says, "Nice seeing you again, as you can see I got a uniform replacement." I did a smile and said, "I still feel extremely bad for doing that to your uniform." I say truthfully. "I mean come on, it's a uniform." She smiles and I spit out without thinking. "Yeah, maybe we can become friends from this." She smiles and nodded and wrote down her phone number. "Text me before you call me because my moms a bit crazy." She says. "I can relate, I'm not even going to lie, I totally can relate with my dad." She laughed and handed me her number. I ordered another cappuccino. They're amazing here especially with vanilla.

I walked to the other counter and Grayson turned his head and winked. I rolled my eyes and waited for my delectable coffee. I'm so tired so this will be refreshing. Grayson walks over to the counter and winks. "I see you got pretty girls number." He says slyly. "And?" I reply back. Before he can answer Auden comes back and calls my name. I smile and grab my coffee. Her pearly white teeth smiles back and she waves.

"Are you- why can't you be like your brothers?! Always letting me down again and again." He pushes me and I push him back. "Back off, what did I do?" I check the clock. I know exactly what I did. After the coffee shop I drove around past 10 and I didn't realize I had a meeting about the family business even though. My dad owns a hotel and it's big and grand with 10 floors and it has a giant pool. It's about $500 dollars per small room.

I roll my eyes. His business takes away other people's buildings and invest them into hotels because they can't afford to keep it withstanding even if it's a family prize. I feel so bad. He huffs and takes one big step towards me. He knocks me down. I punch him but he dodges it. He punches me in the groin and walks away. I go to my room and while Grayson is in the other room listening to music, I grab a brown paper bag under my bed with a bottle. I promised myself I'd never do it but I'll  go crazy if I don't tonight. Just once, once can't hurt. Maybe a shots worth?
I walk to my door and lock it. I've battled with this once I think I'm strong enough to just do it a bit at a time and be fine.

I take the bottle and take a shots worth but maybe more. I sigh, it feels so satisfying running down my throat. I drink about half the bottle and I'm drunk. I look over to the paper to see Auden's number and laugh. I call her slurring my words.

"A-Auden. How- I need-" I can't even pronounce  a full sentence without losing track. Of what I'm trying to say. "Are you alright?" She asks worriedly. I don't say anything. "Is this Jasper?" I laugh and say yeah giggly.
"Where do you live again?" She clears her throat. "I live in a house." She says. "No I remember now I'll be over, you're like 5 away from me?" All I hear under her breath is cursing and I hang up and skateboard to her house. I know, skateboarding?

I at least have morals even if I'm super drunk. I pull up to her house and knock on her door, guess who answers? Auden herself. She's dressed in a sports bra and shorts. I grin and her face turns a Crimson red. I'm like two different people when I'm drunk.

She gives me a signal to come in and she brings me to her bedroom. "What did you do to yourself, little drunk boy?" She says half serious have jokingly.

It must be me but she looks pretty gorgeous while I'm drunk but that's probably the alcohol talking. She's glowing with her blonde hair in a messy bun.

"My dads a lunatic and decided to go mad and so I punched him and so he did the same thing back and so I went to this bag and drank half of the bottle." I blurt out. I start having a feeling of drowsiness.

She shook her head. "Do you drink alcohol normally?" She asks worriedly. "Not all the time, sometimes to numb my problems." She frowns and mouths I'm sorry. "Is there anything I can do to help? Maybe you need to get help." She says and I shake my head. "No one can know." I say while slowly falling asleep. I could feel the taps on my shoulder and I kept my eyes closed. She put a warm blanket on me and I'm out.

I'll regret this in the morning but the way alcohol feels, it feels better than anything, anyone. It's bad considering I've recovered but I haven't completely. I'm going down a spiral.

Oh boy, he's going to be upset in the morning I can see it in the morning when he wakes up with her. I can't wait until the next chapter :) thanks for reading everyone!
