Say what you need to say
If poetry is the economy of words,
Using the fewest words possible
To say the most you possibly can,
I must be the greatest poet ever.
I don’t need lines.
I don’t need stanzas.
I don’t even need rhymes.
Everything I want to say…
Everything I need to say…
Everything you need to hear…
Can be summed up in:
One line.
Three words.
Eight letters.
These words are all useless.
Sixteen lines of worthlessness.
When all I really needed to write is that
I miss you.
