I ran through the woods my heart pounding in my chest as my legs pumped faster and faster. I knew I was leaving a trail, but I couldn't help it. I was bleeding out and all I could do was run, I couldn't stop the bleeding, because I couldn't stop. I gasped heavily seeing a river infront of me. I ran faster before jumping in the ice cold water wrapping around my body quickly. If my body wasn't in flight mode, I more than likely would of gone into cold water shock responce; but I had to keep going. If not I would be caught and killed just like the rest of them. I swam down stream as fast as my body would go. I swam and swam till it felt like my body was about to give up. I cursed out as the river was narrowing meaning it was about to end up either a pond or drop off into the ocean. I quickly swam to shore gripped the grass as I pulled myself up. Ignoring the pain I continued to run as fast as I could. My clothing was soaked, and the winter air wasn't helping how freezing I was.

I let out a blood curling scream as I was shoved to the ground by something my body aching at the impact. I tried to fight it off of me but after everything my body had just gone through it was too weak. Tears rolled down my face as I slowly stopped struggling a small sob excaping my lips as I waited for whatever it was to kill me. To just end me.

I looked up too see him staring at me with confused eyes. A wolf. I qucikly got to my knees bowing my head into submission. Even though I was the Beta in my pack, it was still out of respect as I wasn't on my land anymore. The wolf grunted before stalking behind a tree. I heard the very familiar sound of bones popping back into place before a tall chizzled man came out wearing only shorts.

"What are you doing on this pack's teritory," The man barked out making me flinch.

"My pack, My Alpha, We were attacked by hunters and rouges they have teamed up against us. I was only able to excape because my Alpha gave me orders to run, as his Beta I wasn't allowed to deny his orders. They are all dead," I cried out looking at the man his eyes scanning over my body.

"You're hurt," He mumbled walking over to me. I shook my head standing to my feet.

"I am fine, I need a place to hide can you please grant me access to your pack," I begged flinching as he touched my side that had a massive shot gun hole in it.

"Yes you are granted access, only if you let me help you. You are pale, you're shivering like no tomrrow, and you are bleeding out," He said and before I could even give him an answer he picked me up bridal style and started on his way to wherever we were going.

"Thank you," I croaked out and he just hummed a responce not bothering to look down at me. He was focused on where we were going. I gritted my teeth as now my body was feeling the pain to the shot gun as the adrenaline was dying down.

"You are the Beta of this pack aren't you," I growled trying to ignore the pain and think about anything other than the throbbing feeling.

"Yes I am, The Alpha is not in town right now and wont be for another month," He stated making me nod my head. I gripped his arm tighter as another wave of pain washed over my body.

"The bullets are lased with wolfsbane," I growled through gritted teeth, I could feel my eyes turning there bright gold as my wolf was fighting to stay awake inside me. It was making the both of us weaker the more it sat in my body.

"Hold on, we are almost at the pack Hospital," He mumbled making me nod my head. I blinked back the dizziness trying to stay awake, even though I knew the second I was to be set on the hospital bed they were going to knock me out to get the shrapnel out of my stomach from the bullets. It was a shot gun, the one bullet that holds so many other tiny bullets. He had good aim for something you have no control over.
