Taehyung had a hard time staying calm and collected. As time ticked closer to their lunch period, the more anxious he got. He tapped his feet on the ground and drummed his fingers gently on the wooden tabletop in their art class. The boy was equally excited and nervous to further his plan to become friends with Jungkook. On the other hand, Jimin was beside him, trying to come up with ways of to talk to his best friend who he made mad the other day.

"Are you still upset? I want to make it up to you."

"No."

"That's not a very reassuring no."

"Whether I am upset or not, there is not much that can be done about it so it's best to just move on..." The brunette said as he picked up his pencil and began to work on his art piece some more. Jimin looked at Taehyung for a bit in silence. He knew Taehyung had a habit of holding grudges so for him to be letting things go so easily was weird.

"Alright well. How about-"

"...Though if you really want to fix the situation, you could always apologize to Jungkook." Taehyung interrupted Jimin with a soft yet neutral tone. His face stoic as he didn't even take his eyes off of his artwork.

Jimin blinked repeatedly. "Apologize?"

"You wanted to make it up to me right? I'm not the one you should be making it up to." Taehyung said after watching his best friend's reaction. "I'm not the one who was thrown hurtful words, Jimin. If you want forgiveness, you'll need to get it from Jungkook." He shrugged.

"I only said the truth..." He mumbled, chewing on his cheek before puffing them out and exhaling. "I guess I'll apologize." He said finally. Taehyung gave Jimin a glance. He knew that the smaller boy next to him was stubborn but Taehyung didn't feel right accepting his apology when it wasn't his apology to hear.

"I think you should try to get along with him..." Taehyung said quietly after a long period of silence.

Jimin glanced up at Taehyung. "I know but I don't think we want to get involved with that kind of crowd," Jimin said honestly but before the brunette could say anything, he shook his head. "But since you're my best friend and it doesn't seem you're going to let this idea of becoming ultimate buddy buddy  with Jungkook, I'll try my best."

Although a bit annoyed by what his best friend had said, Taehyung gave a tight smile before sighing. "Thank you..."

As the bell finally rang, signaling lunchtime, Taehyung swiftly tidied his belongings and urged Jimin to join him. Jimin followed along, curious about their destination. "Where are we headed?" Jimin inquired as Taehyung pulled him along. Taehyung didn't respond immediately, but he paused to offer Jimin a gentle smile before continuing in a particular direction.

"To meet up with Namjoon, of course." Taehyung replied with a slight bit of a mischievous tone in his voice.

Jungkook had his elbow sitting on the top of his desk and rested his chin in the palm of his hand, looking around the classroom. He did notice that whenever there was a question that his class didn't quite understand, they would always go straight to this one student.

Was his name Kim Namjoon? Jungkook couldn't remember.

Anyways, he heard that Namjoon has an IQ of 148 and was pretty fluent in English. He was very kind and always answered each concern and cleared up any confusion; even if he couldn't exactly work on his own questions.

But Jungkook made up his own mind about the student when he overheard him that day on the rooftop calling him pathetic. He decided that Namjoon already disliked him and he lost any interest in befriending him. Jungkook didn't realize how long he was staring at Namjoon until the boy had looked into his direction, catching his glance. He blinked once and gave a big smile that showed the dips in his cheeks, giving a wave as if he was greeting him. It took Jungkook back and the ravenette quickly looked away.
