Alone

9 1 1

Lonely, that's what you call it

When you can't feel for a bit

Everyone's losing their minds

Together, our pain is what binds

All our hurt in piles

Walking on for miles

Distance driving us apart

Nobody feeling very smart

We can't carry this alone

Nowhere to call home

It's hopeless truly caring

No courage to be daring

Sure, we're okay

Give a big yay

Inside, we're locked

This door is blocked

Of course, we're sure

There's a cure

Yes, we're fine

Smell the pine

A storm is coming

Loud it's booming

Lighting strikes

The ground spikes

Listen to it lightly

Booming softly

Loudly pouring down

Pick up your frown

It's clearing

The end is nearing

Don't be scared

The rain is bared

Clouds are done crying

Now we're flying

Look at those lights

Done with our fights

Look in the sky

Please don't cry

So many colours

It's our mothers

Their favorite red

The clouds bled

A bright orange

It's a sponge

Nice old yellow

Feeling mellow

A grassy green

Looking screen

Ocean wave blue

It was due

Florescent indigo

Please don't go

At last light violet

Don't be violent
