The night was young as the stars sprinkled the black sky. Cold, the winter breeze blew over a small neighborhood. Inbetween the big rock like mountains left it in a quite cold and deserted state. Small white patches on the grass to remind the folks that it was almost time for the dreadful winter. It was fairly a calm place, but didn't stay like this for most of the part. The rich children stealing it away with their drumming sounds of the music from their tipical teenage parties. Complaints leaving these around the circle of pleasantless music. No one cared of course, the rich never really cared about the old riches around them. Manners never learned, always spoiled until their golden sewed socks fell clean off.
For this young boy, with black liquorice hair, another path layed before him. Not a communicating type but adventure grows in his heart and love grows apart. The boy just sat against the wall, against the corner were the party didn't go on. A big white hoody patterned with blue stripes and red sports on the shoulders. Long black hanging earphones that lead to his IPhone. Playing his favorite song. The sound of the earphones blocked the party music from outside his reach. A soft breath leaving his mouth and slowly pulling back, opening his once closed eyes and looking up at the ceiling. Shaky, blurry, colorful and gray. His head aching just to sleep without being bothered. "You're really here" a soft, gentle voice broke threw. The only sound he let's threw, recognizing it from miles away. "Yea Corner, honestly I just want to leave. Maybe coming here wasn't one of those bright ideas that you had" he spoke looking to the side. Meeting eyes with a small 5 foot boy that had brown hair mixed with blood highlights. Dark purple blue eyes and a smile that shined like the stars that decorated space. A perfect portrait, a perfect friend. "I mean, I actually imagined we had girls by now. Just dancing the day away" Corner hummed as he looked off at the people enjoying themselves. "A girl? Are you really sure about that, I mean I'm not the best ladies man. Not even peoples man" the black haired boy said with a light groan vibrating over his lips. "Neo I'm sure that you can make someone fall for you, like just look at me. I'm just dying of boredom to talk to you" the quiet soft boy spoke in a teasing voice. Blowing a sweet colorful smile to his friend that sat next to him. "Wow very funny, little goof ball" Neo spoke as he rolled his eyes. Pulling one earphone out of his ear, gently pushing Corners face to the other side. Not wanting him to look at him with that charming smile.
"So you want to leave this dump then?" - "Yea, that would be for the best." The two boys agreed to leave this party for a more comforting scenario. Their favorite place to go from the years that they were young. Innocent beings that just wanted to play in the long grass and climb the top of the tallest big trees. So the two started their walk, down the long thin road. Away to the mountains, memories growning bright inside their heads. The sad ones and the happy ones all alike. "If you'd want to travel back in time, to where would you want to go?" Corner asked to break the peaceful silince. His hands fidgeting behind his body, looking down to the ground with his hair slowly moving against the mountain winds. "To go back to the days where we didn't care. Where everything was going to be okay and knowing it will be okay when I get back home to my sister" Neo replied with a stuttering nervous voice. Knowing that Corner knew about his troubles and it just made him worry that the boy might react like last time.
"I would want to go back to where we became friends. I can remember it as if it was yesterday," Corner started to speak while walking up against the thin foot road leading up the mountain, "It was a day almost like this. So quite and peaceful." Both of them stepped up onto a big bolder against the mountains. "We were young, I think I was like 12 or something" Corner said with a loud breath, panting lightly of climbing up on the mountain. To the top where a peace of ground lays halfway up the mountain. A patch of golden yellow grass and a big old tree growing up the mountain. "I was hiding here, on this mountain. Against the tree and eyes staring up to the blue clear sky. I had not a thought in the world... Until you suddenly came to my sight" Corner hummed, plopping down on the grass with a light sigh. "14 year old boy, tears in his eyes and a red face that colored his light brown tanned skin. You were bothered by the world, a child like me at that age didn't even understand it" he spoke while Neo sat down next to him. "A boy that knew we'd be friends forever" Neo said with a smile, "I can't forget that day. I love those days and would never want to get rid of it.""Hearts and frozen thoughts" - "Could not be broken with just one word" the two said before laughing. "So depressing, come now we aren't here for that shit" Corner joked as he looked over at Neo with a bright smile. "Your the one that brought it up idiot" Neo replied with a small smile. "Besides, the night is beautiful. Just before the storms that might hit later on" the black haired boy said as he stared up at the starry sky. A silince breaking threw them. Thoughts focused on the past and bodies to lazy to even care a bit about the cold that surrounded them. "You know, I wouldn't want to be with anyone else in this world except you right now. This stupid place is to stressful" the small boy spoke to break the silince, but Neo wasn't that fast to break it. Staying quiet for just a few more minutes before nodding and closing his eyes. "Your really a romantic arnt you" Neo spoke softly. "Fucking broromance my dude" Corner replied with a laugh as he yelled it out at the top of his lungs. "Shut up" Neo replied and rolled his eyes, slowly letting out another breath as he drifted off into relaxation.
