"Easy now?" said a deep voice that seemed to come from all around him and hold several different tones at once as Kylan started to regain consciousness
"You had a bit of a shock to the system, a cracked skull, and a bad concussion; I put you to sleep so you could heal once you were out of danger of going into a coma, seems I'm not such a bad Healer after all! UrIm always did say I had a knack for it" the voice continued.
Kylan thought the voice reminded him of someone and then remembered "UrVa?" as he sensed more than saw the impressions of a large multi-armed creature and large gentle hands checking him.
"Ssh. You're probably still a bit muzzy" the voice continued.
Kylan opened his eyes, and although still a bit blurry he saw the speaker, a large, four-armed creature, with large hands, and with a long mane of hair (red?) and a long, narrow, gentle-looking face, lightly whorled with spirals and with pale-coloured eyes was smiling kindly down at him as he leaned over and checked Kylan's forehead.
"You're a Mystic!...an UrRu!" Kylan said remembering the word UrVa had used.
"I'm impressed!" the Mystic said, " most people don't know that!"
"So you are a Mystic?" asked Kylan.
"You are correct," said the Mystic "I am, indeed a UrRu" he paused " easy now".
"Where are we? The last thing I remember was being aboard Lord SkekSa's ship".
"Safe," the Mystic said, " you and your friends washed up on the shore of this village...apparently, Lord SkekSa's ship went to close to the Leviathan and it made her ship spit you out and refused to let her past".
"My friends?"

"Safe, their next door, where you soon will be, I kept you here because you were the most wounded".
"Who are you?" Kylan asked, "your one of the Mystics, but I have never seen a red headed Mystic before!"
"Nor had most of the Mystics!" said the Mystic with a rich chuckle " most of us tend to be white haired, especially by now, but my hair has always remained stubbornly red!"
"Who are you?' Kylan repeated.
"UrAzshar the Magician they call me, UrAa, Azshar, UrAz, or just plain Az! I'm more partial to Az myself and that is what most call me. As to where you are, you are in a Sifan fishing village called Seacliff, it's along the Silver Sea, just not that well known and is on a tributary" he offered him some tea, Kylan sniffed it and the Mystic said, " it won't hurt you, it was one of your kind who taught me to make it, you were lucky you ended up here Kylan, The Songteller."
"How do you know who I am?"
"Your friends...mainly," said UrAzshar " and we got your message. Very ingenious, I must say. We will try and find a way to pass it on to all of Thra, but for now, rest and heal, you had a bad concussion".
Kylan said " my head hurts and all muzzy".
"no doubt," said the Mystic with a chuckle "you have a bad concussion" and sat down beside him " drink your tea, and I will try to heal you some more".
Kylan nodded and did so, as the Mystic put his hand on his head and hummed a little and Kylan felt a warm glow infuse him.
He looked at the Mystic as he healed him, intrigued by the red headed Mystic, whose gentle face and large form were still so alien to him, noone knew much of the Mystics, they were elusive and most had never seen one!
This Mystic's hair was indeed red, a rich deep red with rich golden highlights, it was the colour of fire, his eyes were odd, a pale colour, blue-violet or something, the Mystics he had seen had darker eyes, and his skin was a golden brown.
"You don't look like the Mystics I have seen" he remmarked.
"And how many Mystics have you seen?" the Mystic asked.
"Only two" he replied.
"UrVa one," said the Mystic "thanks for finding him. We were worried about him" he paused "he's an old friend of mine and he's been missing for a while. So we were kind of worried about him" Kylan noticed that this Mystic spoke flawless Gelfling with just the barest hint of an accent, wherever they were, he'd been living here for a while.
"Naia found him," said Kylan.
"Trust UrVa to get himself caught in a tree!" the Mystic said with a chuckle "next time I see him he won't live that down!"
Kylan had to smile, UrVa had shown a sense of humour as had UrLii, but they had also both still come across as ancient and wise, this Mystic however.....well it was almost like talking to another Gelfling!
Kylan said, "you are not like the other Mystics.....".
"Oh and how is that?" the Mystic asked.
