Ivy's POV

//flashback//

"don't you dare die on me jake" I beg him as I'm covered in his blood

"it's fine ivy, but promise me that you won't stop fighting and once  I'm gone find someone else try being happy don't let me hold you back."

"no, because you're not leaving me"sobbing loudly I hold his hand

"I love you, so much" he then closed his eyes

"NO, NO JAKE I LOVE YOU COME BACK TO ME. I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU.JAKE"

////flashback over////

I quickly sit up to find Chris next to me.he keeps repeating the words, okay but I can't take it anymore and start sobbing in his chest whiles he hugs me. jake used to be my boyfriend but he died during one of the missions that we had together because I couldn't save him and now he is gone because of me.

"it's okay ivy, it's going to be okay," Chris says whiles hugging me

"I know it been a year now but I can't stop thinking about it, what if I was more careful? what if I told him not to come? it's all my fault that he died."

"he did it for you so cheer up he wouldn't be happy if you were crying now would he .he is always going to be with you and so are we not matter what."

"your right,"  wiping my tears away I realize that it's still dark outside 

"What time is it ?"

"it's 3 am don't worry"reassuringly he says

"I think I'm gonna get up and get ready, either way, I need to start training at 4"

"ok do you want me to make you some coffee and tell everyone to be ready?"Chris asks as I walk into my closet 

"yes to the coffee and no to that waking up part I wanna do that myself"smirking I reply causing him to chuckle and shake his head as he walks out.

after I finished showering I got changed and headed downstairs to see that everyone was already there causing me to pout and glare at Chris.

"what? they were already here when I got downstairs"making me laugh

"Well then, what are we waiting for? let us  get started"

§§§§two hours later§§§§

"well, that's it for today I need to get changed and get to school"everyone just groans in reply

after getting changed and packing my bag I head over to the girls and we get ready to get to school. we continued to talk about our upcoming missions and our classes when we see Cameron and Tyler rushing towards us like they were going to die.

"Guys, what's wrong?" impatiently  I question them

"on our way here we saw something suspicious it was hanks son, Jaxon and some of his gang and they were heading this way do you think they are the new student's john was trying to warn us about?"Cameron nervously asks  

"that could be a possibility but the real question is what do they want with us? and why did hank send Jaxon instead?" but we all knew the answer to those questions.to cause trouble. just then their car pulls up and luckily for us the only person outside was violet

"speak of the devil and he shall appear..." annoyed I say .i glance back at my group giving them our signal and we start walking towards them as soon as they see us they start smirking.

"Well well well, if it isn't Ivy and her gang"smugly he says whiles taking his sunglasses off 

"Jaxon, it hasn't been long enough in my opinion"
