Chapter 5

We walked home still in silence. I walked into the lounge and saw grace sitting on the couch watching pink panther. It had just started and was at the credits, then i started to hum along. As i was walking down the hall to my room I heard someone lauphing I turned aound to see Carl lauphing his head off at the pink panther movie. I walked into the lounge and shouted above the blaring TV "Carl, Have you never seen Pink Panther"  Carl looked at me with an 'Errrr.......no' look and he said "No, Pink panther is not big in britian".

I must have had a 'Holy Mother of God' look on my face, becasue Carl just lauphed and in between lauphter he said "..............yes(breath).........I........know........that (breath).....it.........is (breath)......strange......but yer." I said "Oksy" and walked down the hall dummped my bag on the end of my queen sized bed and jummped on my bed and grabbed my phone out of my pocket and scanded through my contacts. I wanted to tell someone about my kiss, but who? I couldnt call joy, beth and jean since they were all at cheerleading, also couldnt call millie and Amy since they both had work after school on a monday. 

Casey and chloe were grounded so they werent able to recieve any calls. So I gave up and walked with my phone out into the lounge and sat down next to Carl and I studyed his face she was gourgus i really like him I tought. Carl turned to face me and said "you really like who?" I blushed bright pink and stuttered "O oh i di didnt mean to say that out loud" I turned back to the movie and I felt him lean over and he whispered in my ear "Well i thought it was funny" and with a lauph he turned back to the screen.

I was screaming in my mind "orksy". It was about 10 minutes from the end of pink panther when my mum walked in and yell "Turn the volume down please, hey also what do you want for dinner?" I yelled back "can we have pork please" Mum replied "yer, i guess so pork cultuts it is then" I hoped up and walked into the kitichen. I asked "Mum, when is dad coming home?" To explain my dad is a miner and he works for a few weeks and the comes home so i dont see him to offtern and when he is home we ALWAYS spend time together.

"um, i dont honey i think next week" "okay" I replied chearfully as i skipped out of the room. I skipped into the lounge and saw Carl, Grace and Katie sitting cross legged on the floor pulling out movies. I went and stood between Katie and Grace. They both smiled when i approched they pulled me down next to them and thrusted five movies in my direction. The first 'Batman and the Dark Knight', second 'The SpongeBob Movie (Author's point of veiw or APV, my pic would be SPONGEBOB), Third 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire', fourth 'Run Fat boy Run' and lastly '10 things I hate about you'  (APV, or 10 things i hate about you).

Katie and Grace yelled at me "choose one" and Carl just shrugged and mouthed "I havent seen any of them" I grabbed Sponge bob and 10 thing i hate about you and out them behind my back and turned to carl and said "choose a hand" After about a minute of uming and aring and alot of Oh My God just hurry up's he finaly choose my right hand which happened to be..................................................................................................................... THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE.

Grace cheared and ran into the kitchen, for popcorn i think but Katie whined and said "Not fair, SpongeBob sucks" I told her after spongebob we could watch 10 thing i hate about you" Then she was fine. Grace walked in with a MASIVE  bowl of popcorn and a coke. she pu them down and ran back into the kitchen and came back out with another four cokes. She sat down on the floor but i motioned for her to come and sit on my lap. She got up and placed her coke on the coffee table and walked oover to me and sat on my lap with the masive bowl of popcorn

. I stuck my hand in the bowl grabbing a huge hand full of popcorn. Grace yell "No fair this is MY popcorn!!" "To bad your on my lap so i get some, eather that or your on the floor?" i said She sighed and said "fine" I lauphed and grabbed my coke and had a swing.
