Finally caught (Gakuen Alice)

Christmas ball? -Part 1-

Natsuki

Right now...we were on our way to 'Christmassy Central Town!' Taking the bus as I sat beside Natsu in the back as Luca sat in front of me with Yoichi. Mikan and Hotaru, I was playing with Angel's fur as she laid on my lap sleeping.

"Wonderful! Wonderful Central Town, It's a completely different feeling from last time we were here!!" Mikan yelled as we only got a couple of steps away from the bus.

Myself and Natsu, including Angel were walking behind them. We still haven't told them about our relationship.

"Full of Christmas cheer!!" Mikan continued as a small smile was on my lips behind Angel.

"But because it's Sunday today, there are a lot of people...."

"Most people from the Gakuen have come here, oh look it's Misaki-sensei!" One of the classmates said (I am so sorry, I don't remember their names!)

"Hey-! Kids!!" We heard a voice say. I turned around and saw upperclassman drinking hot chocolate. Tsubasa-senpai, Misaki-senpai, Megane-senpai and Tono-senpai if I remember correctly.

"Ah~!! It's Tsubasa-senpai! We were found out!!" Mikan said loudly smiling brightly.

"Ah! Tono-senpai is here too..." Mikan trailed off as she almost saw him with someone that's definitely not from the Gakuen.

"Alright, Alright Mikan, there you go." Tsubasa-senpai said as he rotated Mikan the other way while hugging her.

"Is Tsubasa-senpai here to buy gifts too?" Mikan asked as we followed them.

"Yeah." He replied.

"Have you decided what your buying?" Mikan asked.

"Hm! More like were just starting." Tsubasa-senpai said drinking something.

"Ne, what are you drinking?" I asked catching the attention of everyone.

"Grape Juice, want some?" I shook my head and stared blankly at him.

"Are you...Natsumi Yoko?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Huh? Tsubasa-senpai, you know Natsumi-chan?" Mikan asked.

"Yup, she's the talk of our department. More like the highschool" he replied as i furrowed my eyebrows.

"Sugoi Natsumi-chan!!" Mikan said as she turned around to me smiling brightly as before.

I tugged on Natsu's sleeve wanting a little help. He knew what to do, he came in front of me and flicked Mikan's forehead.

"Baka, your too close." He said using only a little of his 'scary' glare.

"Look~! Mikan, Yoko and friends~!!<3" We heard a cheerful voice say. I looked over and saw Narumi with Permy and Ruka. "Are you out today to get presents too?"

"Narumi-sensei!!! Ruka and Permy too!!" Milan exclaimed loudly.

"Ah...you two already have your presents..." She stared at the for a long while.

I looked around and quietly walked off to a store not to far, Natsu was busy arguing with Yo-chan so he didn't notice, I have to get a present for them!

-Some time later-

I ended up buying Tons of presents, especially for Natsu, I sighed as I stepped out of the stores. I decided to go home and plan a small party for Natsu, I put a note on Angel and sent her off to go find him. Since it was his birthday, I was both nervous and excited to see his reaction.

'Dear Natsume,

I know I left you alone, and you might be worried but I am fine, just come to my room at 9 PM or so, I'll be waiting.

P.S- bring Angel with you.

Sincerely Natsuki...'

I hummed as I stood in the kitchen making the cake, hoping he'd like it. I nervously washed the used tools for the cake as it baked in the oven.

"Relax Natsuki, he'll love the surprise." Luka smiled encouragingly at me as I chewed at my bottom lip.

"But what if he doesn't?" I frowned, it has been awhile since we spent his birthday together.

"He will, stop worrying.." Luka sighed and flicked my forehead, I hissed a bit quietly in pain as I rubbed my forehead.

"Alright...." I sighed. I looked at the clock, it was currently 6:18 PM, just enough time to decorate and get ready for Natsume.

-Time skip-

8:56 PM

The cake laid on a white plate in the centre of the table as candles lit the room. I looked down at the outfit I wore, I had just bought it today for this event, Luka knew that this was special and decided to leave. I decorated the room in streamers as the lights were off. I laid my head in my arms as I stared at the flickering flame from the candle.

"Sekai wa kowaini..." I started singing in a whisper as my eyes wandered to around the room, My hair falling to my sides.

-Time skip-

"8:59..." I mumbled quietly. 'Almost there...' I thought quietly, my heart hammering against my chest, will he like the surprise? I mean there isn't that much people, and it's just the two of us right?

-Time Skip/3rd POV-

"9:59..." She whispered in a quiet voice, her eyes sad as she stared at the cake. she hoped he would have came by 9:30. But silence was only heard.

"Come on Natsu...Don't keep me waiting.." She smiled, a pained smile. Here she was celebrating his birthday but again she was alone.

'Was it too good to be true? This relationship...' She thought looking down at her lap, she brought her knees to her chest and hugged them as she nuzzled her face in them.

The candle light blew out just like that, and again she was in the darkness. Alone and cold she was. Forgotten was what she felt like.

But soon she heard scratching on the door, she quickly got out of her seat and opened the door without question. There was Angel, her dog looking up at her with sad eyes. Natsuki imedietaly picked her up and hugged her tightly, closing the door and crying silently. Warm tears turned cold as she sat there embracing her companion.

Her dog only able to give her licks and nuzzles of comfort, Natsuki felt half comforted after all, the other half was for the warm arms that embraced her every night.

I know, I know I have a lot to make up to but then I lost my phone and had to get a new one, then a lot of stuff happened and I felt really alone and depressed but now I'm inspired to write more?

I know I made Natsume sound like a complete ass I think but it's needed to get to a certain point in the plot.

Please listen to the song on the side. From start to finish onegai!! The scenery suppose to be like she's sitting in the moonlight of the balcony door window when the rooms all dark, cradling Angel in her arms as she sobbed quietly with tears falling to her lap and floor.

So sad~ I've been itching to write this kind of scene, well. Expect more in a few days or so. Look guys I'm really sorry about writing like months later from the real date issued for this chapter.
