It was a memorable day. Both teens had warm smiles on their faces the whole time. It was pretty obvious that they were enjoying each other's presence, and they couldn't be happier. From watching a movie together to eating dinner together, they knew this day would end with smiles on their faces. Like what they say, "the hearts of people who are in love . . are in sync". Though they weren't aware about it, there was this someone who made their fates meet ㅡ Cupid. . or maybe not. Maybe they were just meant to be together.
But, they were too oblivious about it. Both were afraid to ruin their friendship, making them hide their true feelings. On the bright side, let's not think about that. No one knows. . this night could change their lives forever.
As Yura was asking Sanha about the movie they had watched earlier, the young lad couldn't take away his eyes off of her. The way she smiles would make his heart skip a beat, making his pulse increase by each passing second.
"Hey Sanha, remember what Joie said in the movie?" Yura asked, turning to the disturbed guy beside her.
Upon noticing that he was gawking at her, she released an awkward chuckle and poked his arm to break his train of thought. "Sanha? You there?" She asked.
"O-Oh?" The young lad stammered, feeling the heat rushing to up to his cheeks in embarrassment upon noticing his stupid actions. "Oh, yeah. I-I'm listening."
Yura smiled in relief as her reply. "Oh, great. I thought I was talking to myself this whole time. So, as I was saying, do you remember what she said?"
"Wait. Did she ask me something? Oh gosh, I really need to get myself together now." Sanha thought to himself.
Not wanting to embarrass himself, he released a nervous laugh and shook his head. "N-No, I don't."
"You know, that was my favorite part. Especially when she said, "The first snow. There's a saying where you confess to someone you like during the first snowfall, you'll be together forever." And then, in a moment. ."
"Yura," Sanha suddenly cut her off, making her turn her head to look at him in question.
"Hmm?"
"It's the first snow." He commented, reaching out his hand before a snowflake landed unto it.
"Oh, yeah." She trailed off, eyes wandering off to stare at it. "It's pretty."
A smile fell unto her lips as the ground started to turn into white. "So, as I was saying," She started once more, turning to Sanha. "In a moment-"
Her breath hitched as her eyes shot wide open upon feeling a pair of soft lips on her right cheek. At that very moment, she forgot how to breathe whilst her chest was about to burst.
She was overwhelmed. . both of them actually. They were staring into each other's orbs that they adored, the feeling of heat rushing up to their cheeks.
"I like you." Sanha spoke out, breaking the sudden ice that he once made.
Their pulses increased, hearts beating faster than normal, somersaults and butterflies in their tummies.
The shock that was written on Yura's face couldn't be removed that easily. Especially after hearing Sanha's sudden confession. She was. . astonished.
"That's what happened in the movie, right? Joie explained what did the first snowfall mean, but unbeknownst to her, the guy she talked about it. . was the guy who admired her." Sanha explained, trying to make his voice as calm as possible. Although he was trembling on the inside, he still managed to release a small smile.
