CHRIS
"Chris I'm still waiting!" Fred called out from downstairs.
"Yeah, just a sec!" I called back, my jacket, breeches, chest protector, glove, sleeves, Épée and my mask, I grabbed them all and shove them in my sport bag, I threw it over my shoulder and raced out of my room.
I stop dead in my track when I saw the stairs, I feel dizzy and nervous all of a sudden, since I fell from the stairs three days ago I'm so deadly scared of heights, my therapists said I was suffering from acrophobia. I'm currently going through some therapy, I don't think that will help but I loose nothing to try.
I slowly back off from the stairs, it looks high! My heart is pounding!
"Chris are you ready?" Fred popped out from behind me.
"Y-yeah, but Luca had some family problems, he won't be driving me today." I said.
"I'll drive you, but I can't pick you, I'll come back late, Father is away for a trip so I'm all alone, I'll asked Nathan or Jack to pick you." He said, I froze.
"N-no, I can take a, cab or uh, any other option!" I don't want my brothers close to me ever again! Since Fred found out about them, they haven't said a word to me, I love it that way, Fred said he'll have to tell father, I don't think is necessary but who cares?
"You can't Chris, I don't trust people out there! Bad things happen at night, I can't let you take a cab while we've got more than ten cars in this compound." He said.
"But you know Nathan! Like Nathaniel! No thank you, i-"
"I promise you everything will be fine they won't hit you." He put his arm on my shoulder as we walked to Nathan's room.
"I don't know," I shrugged "they don't like me."
"Hey don't be sad," Fred grab my cheeks making me look up at him, "I promise by tomorrow we'll find a solution, by the way father's plane is landing this night, I told him everything on the phone, I'm pretty sure he's find a solution, come on smile." He grinned.
I smile, "thanks for caring so much."
"Is my duty Christopher." He said as we walked in the hall, we finally came to hell, Fred practically dragged me inside, I keep avoiding any eye contact, it was just Jack and Nathan playing games as soon as the saw us the paused the game.
"Boys I want you guys to pick Christopher up after his fencing competition." The instance Fred said it they started groaning and complaining like they were asked to jump off a cliff.
"Sorry I can't, I'm driving Melinda today." Nathan said.
"I'm hanging out with friends." Jack blurted out.
"Stop your childish attitude, I'm not asking you to jump from a cliff, I'm just instructing you to pick your younger brother up after his competition not like you were going with him."
"Why?" Jack frowned.
"Yeah why? He has a driver." Nathan said.
"He's driver took a day off and discussion close! You have to decide between yourselves you're picking him up that's all, here is the address!" He said sternly before dropping a paper on the nightstand and off we went.
I sigh as I stare out the window.
"What is it?" Fred asked while driving.
"You shouldn't have asked them, I told you I could take a cab."
