Step Brothers

Chapter 3

Landan's POV 

I ran to my room not wanting to talk to anyone. I slammed my door and started punching my punching bag.

"Stupid dad, for giving me these bruises, stupid mom for telling Max, stupid step brothers treating me like crap, stupid scars, stupid bruises, stupid a coma, LIFE.IS.JUST.STUPID!" I say as I punch the bag.

I heard someone come in so I looked behind me and saw all three of my step brothers.

"What do you want?" I ask rolling my eyes and going back to my punching bag.

"Tell my brothers they didn't understand any of  what your mom said, she didn't tell us." Leo told me.

I gestured them to sit down. When they did I pulled out my picture. I began to explain everything my dad did to me, and I did get surprised faces. I swear these dudes thought I was some spoiled brat. My eyes were yet again watering when I started talking about my brothers. The three of them gave me a hug, and then they all told me their stories with there mom.

"My mom beat me because she didn't want another kid, every time she got dome she would hug and kiss me and tell me she loved me, that's why for the longest time I hated the word love." Gavin told me as he showed me a heart scars on his neck and his chest close to where his heart was.

"I was moms first son, so it obviously hurt me to see her hurt my younger brothers, so one day I confronted her, and told her my mom wouldn't do what she did.. I called her a monster and said she wasn't my mom ....and....and she..." Calvin's eyes started watering. We told him he didn't have to, but he just shook his head like he had to.

"She branded me with a burn of her initials, one that says property of and then her name, and  carving that says my son." Cavin admitted as he wiped his eyes.

We just sat there in silence for a bit, but it helped. Soon I heard the door open and we looked and there stood my mom and my "dad".  Yeah I called him dad, he's been more of one than my real one.

" Hey baby, mama is sorry. I shouldn't have told them, and now they know because you were brave enough to show them. You brothers are proud of you." Mom looked at me with teary eyes.

"Thanks mom, its ok, hey mom since we haven't went to see them in a while can we go tomorrow?" I begged about to cry.

"Sure baby." Mom said.

"Mom can the guys come?"

"I don't see why not." Mom said.

I looked up at all of them hoping they say yes with pleading eyes.

"Sure bud." Calvin told me as he ruffled my.

"We'd love to." Leo smiled pulling me close as Gav just nodded and Mr. Max smiled at me.

"Now how about we have everybody's favorite food, my famous Fried chicken, and homemade fries I already made." Mom smiled as everyone laughed and we went downstairs.

At the table everyone started talking about the next day.

"Mom can we get them something like we always do." I asked mom with pleading eyes as I ate my chicken.

"Sure baby, and I'll have Janet put the things away for them."

"Who's Janet?" The boys asked confused.

"She's the nurse who has been taking care of my brothers since they got admitted." I half way smile.

"Dad can we get them something to?" My step brothers asked Max.

"I love that idea." Mr. Max smiled. 

It was about 6:30 now and we weren't really tired.

"Mom can I watch their favorite movie, I promise I'll go to bed right after that?" I begged.

"Ok but go to bed right after." mom said.

"Can we watch?" Gav asked, I nodded my head.

"Ok boys but the same goes for you three." Max said

 As they sat down on the couch and I put in the movie "Four Brothers".

The Movie didn't end until 8:18 and I started to head up the stairs, but before I got up the stair the boys called me back.

"Lan, for tomorrow what do we need to wear... we've.... you know.. never did anything like this." Calvin said trying to tread lightly.

I laughed, and surprisingly didn't wake up anyone, making them look confused.

"Look guys dress how you want it's just my big brothers. My mom would say dress nice but not to dress to nice." I explain, and they smile and nod.

Now we're all heading to bed. I can't wait for tomorrow, to see my big brothers.
