Step Brothers

Chapter 5

Landan's POV

I woke up and heard laughter. I walked downstairs and saw mom showing the guys our home videos of me and my brothers.

"Hey guys." I sit down on the couch in between Gav and Leo.

The part came up when I was born and Lake, Braylon, and Treyton were gushing over me. My face turned red when everyone awed me. I sat and laughed at some and others I cried I really missed them. There was the one where we all were at the park. I was only 4 or 5 at the time. I was swinging on the swings when I fell back and hurt myself. I obviously started crying and my three brothers rushed to me, trying to comfort me, when an older kid about Lakes age came. "Is the baby gonna cry, wimp." The kid said and kicked me. "You leave our brother alone James." Lake walked up as the kid hit me again. Before you knew it my brothers jumped on the kid.

I smiled, they were always protective of me, I missed them.

Then came the really rare times when they teased me with little, light punches, wet willies, and just things like that. My step brothers laughed and my mom looked confused she didn't think she put those in and she didn't my brothers did and Max looked shocked. I just sat there red as can be.

It was now heading to the end where my brothers said, "We love you Landan!" They wave. "I wove oo guys, Wake Braywon and Twenton." Younger me waves.

I look at the guys and smile a cute smile.

"Mom, is it ok if we call you mom?" Leo asked.

Mom nodded.

"Who looks like who." Leo asked talking about me and my brothers.

"Well Treyton and Lake looked alike and Landan looks like Braylon but darker because he loves the sun and tans easier than the others." Mom smiled thinking of my brothers

I smiled seeing mom happy, I pulled out my phone to take a picture and realized my birthday was this Monday June 14th. Our summer was still going strong because our schools start at weird times.

I run and start shaking everyone reminding them of my birthday. They laugh at me and start asking me what I want.

My face frowns when they ask that and mom knows why.

"All I want for my birthday is my whole family here for once." I whine as I run up to my room.

Soon my door opened and my step brothers came in.

"That's a big B-Day wish." Leo sat down next to me.

I looked down, feeling stupid that I even said it.

"But that doesn't Mean it won't come true. Who's all your family?" Leo asked.

"Well there's my moms two brothers and their kids, and just my dad's little brother, his twin sister and older brother, they're nothing like him, and of course the main ones my brothers." I smile as I list them, but soon frown.

"But my moms brothers live about an hour away and have kids who don't like rides and as single dad's it's hard, and my dad's brothers and twin sister just never want to see my dad and they don't think he really went to jail, and my brothers have their predicament." I look down again.

My step brothers kind of smile.

"We might be able to get everyone but your brothers." Calvin smiles.

I half way smile hoping they can do it.

I ask them to leave I change into some PJ's and go to sleep.

AN:Sorry it was so short, but the next one has some good parts so that might make up for it.
