We just settled in our new house in LA . I moved all the way over here from Texas . Not gonna lie the weather is really nice over here but whatever , in 3 days it will be the first day of Junior year . I'm so not looking forward to it but I can do this . 2 more years of school and I'm done . I'm also not looking forward to the BBQ my parents are having tomorrow to introduce themselves. Let's just hope they go well .
***Sunday morning***
"Y/n!!" I hear my mom screaming from down stairs "Coming!!" I yell back. I crawl out my bed and walk down to the kitchen to where my mom was standing. "Your father and I are heading over to the market to buy the things we need"
"Kay cool" I said going back up to my room. I was so not looking forward to this BBQ my parents had planned , but I have to spend quality time with them because they're always on businesses trips. I still hadn't made any friends so I'm basically stuck at home. I was really bored so I turned the lights off and watch some tv.
***later in the afternoon ***
I was probably on tumblr for about 2 hours woops. I checked the time and it was 4:24 I head over to grab my clothes , take a shower and get dressed. I wore a cream colored crop top, a black skater skirt, and my white high top converse. I wait for my hair to dry , I get my straightener and curl my hair . I find it better to curl with a straightener. I curled all my hair and sprayed some hair spray .By the time I was done it was already 4:55.
My parents were in the backyard setting everything up for the guest .They put the meat on the grill and got sodas to put in the cooler . By 5:30 we had a few people at our house I introduced myself to everyone and sat down while everyone ate and talked. I was bored so I grabbed my phone and went on Instagram. "Y/n"I look up to see my parents along with another family of 5 . "These are the Gilinsky's" my mom said with a wide smile. "I'm sorry , hello I'm Y/n" "nice to meet you I'm David , that's my wife Katherine , and our 3 kids Laura , Molly , and Jack." "Nice to meet you all" i shook there hands and sat back down. "Jack is your age you guys should get along well" my mom said as she escorted them to the table.
We really didn't do much so I got up and was about to go for a walk when my dad says "you should invite Jack with you" I smile and nod in agreement "Do you want to join me Jack?"
"umm yeah sure if it's fine with you"
"it's fine cmon lets go"
