After you get your new pair of pajamas you headed downstairs into the living room a complete and total mess, as well as being totally naked, and looking utterly exhausted.
Demona: Well you look like shit.
She smirks and you look up with soft tired eyes accompanied with a sleepy smile.
Y/N: Yeah I don't think we'll be able to complete what we planned.
She just chuckles a little.
Demona: That's okay baby girl. You need to get used to that monster more then I ever will. So I understand.
She walks up to you and embraces you in a warm hug.
Demona: I got what I needed all thanks to you.
You look up at her your eyes partially closed the same sleepy smile still known. She pulls your head closer to her chest and you wrap your arms around her as well.
Lucifer: Your bath is ready, princess!
He calls from the bathroom up the stairs and you pull away from Demona.
Demona: Thank you, Y/N.
Y/N: No idea what you're thanking me for but you're welcome.
You turn around and head up the stairs where Lucifer awaits you.
Lucifer: Come on baby girl let's get you cleaned and relaxed.
He picks you up and carries you like a baby as a result making you respond by hiding your face in his chest. He strokes your hair and rests his head against yours as the both of you enter the large tub together in a cuddle he lays down on his back allowing you to rest on his torso like a koala as he caresses your back with a gentle touch his hand fitting in perfectly with the curves of your back. He gives you soft kisses on your head.
Lucifer: I love you princess. I don't know what I would do without you.
You remained laying on his chest hearing his soothing voice and closing your eyes so you can feel closer to him, even though there's like no room for air between the two of you in your current position, but nevertheless you felt closer. You felt complete. When you decided to lift your head and look at him you both just looked at each other, believing you were the only one's in the world.
Y/N: I love you too.
You sit up just enough to give him a kiss.
Lucifer: You're such a beautiful person Y/N, just within these last few weeks you've showed me the impossible, you've showed me things I never even seen in my many years of living. You've made such an impact on me in such a short time. I don't know how I've lasted these past years without you. I wish you would realize how much I need you and just become mine, and only mine.
You relax at his words and smile slightly at the hint of possessiveness in his voice. The both of you just sit and ponder the words that are now suspended in the air a comfortable silence enveloping you two.
Y/N: Lucifer?
Lucifer: Hm?
Y/N: Have you ever thought about why people fall in love?
Lucifer: Not in depth no. Why?
Y/N: I'm just curious what your thoughts and your view point of it.
Lucifer: Well...
He ponders it for a bit.
Lucifer: I think the reason why people fall in love is because that other person reminds them of someone they never were and never will be, so they need or want someone who's strengths and weaknesses accentuate and balance out who they are and evolve into a better version. Hence a child is made. Often times that child comes from pure love and that child is a mix of both their parents. Strengths and weaknesses alike.
Y/N: Okay, now based off that response why did you fall in love with me?
Lucifer: I knew you would ask something like that?! If you don't want to be with me then why are you leading me on?
You lifted your head and winced at the sharpness in his voice before looking at him with tears in your eyes, you scowl and begin to get up to get out of the tub. Your first movement made him realize what he said and he wrapped his arms around you pulling you back.
Y/N: No! I shouldn't have said anything. My bad.
You fight against him as much as you could with whatever strength you had left and he just held you tighter.
Y/N: Let me go Lucifer!
Lucifer: No.
After struggling for what felt like eternity to you, but was probably only 30 more seconds, you finally decide to succumb to his embrace once again.
Lucifer: I'm sorry it sounded like that. It was not my intention to set you off. The reason I fell in love with you is because I believe you are a better version of me, half demon or not. You are head strong, you have the ability to stand up for your beliefs and not back down nor be afraid of how someone would view you. I've always been afraid of what people would think of me.
Y/N: You think I've never been afraid of what people thought of me? As a matter of fact I always worry about how people will think of me but I also know I can't change how people view me. That's their choice. If I feel someone dislikes me I give them a reason to which, in return, ends up with me not hesitating with my opinions and standing up for my beliefs and from there on it's up to them what they want to believe. If they begin realizing their prejudice after I say that they'll feel bad and that's almost the best thing I can see in someone. The best change I can see in anyone.
Lucifer: You're truly an amazing person.
You smile at him.
Y/N: Thank you baby.
You kiss him.
Y/N: And, for the record, who said I wasn't already yours?
His eyes widen.
Lucifer: Why haven't you said anything till now?
Y/N: You never actually asked... so I figured I'd "play" hard to get. Even though I'm surprised you didn't catch the hint sooner. Quite frankly I'm kind of hurt you haven't.
Lucifer: Well, Y/N would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?
Y/N: Sounds more like a marriage proposal but yes.
Lucifer: We could make it into a marriage proposal.
Y/N: No, too fast too fast.
You laugh and he laughs in return.
Lucifer: Would it really be though?
Y/N: Yeah. You may have lived longer then I have, but I feel we need at least a couple years.
Lucifer: I don't know we'd have a whole life ahead of us would it really be too early to get married?
