For those who don't know, the "destroyer" is talking about the one in the sunflower male reader x spinel story, so read that if you don't get this, otherwise, enjoy!

Y/N's pov

I was currently working with Bismuth, Lapis, and Peridot on the giant building here, though they haven't told it's use, but whatever helps. While at the top and using my vines to bring materials up, I began to think back on the past that led to here.

-Flashback-

Upon creation, I was a defect, I had more masculine features and even had an unknown gem. And since I was imperfect and even powerful, the diamonds wanted me gone. I don't know what Pink saw in me because she stood up for me and kept me under her wing. The diamonds agreed, much to their dismay. Pink brought me to the garden and introduced me to Spinel, a fun loving gem where her only purpose was to entertain. I had so many feelings for her that I didn't understand, but I put them aside. I guess she had them as well because we both gained a darker color on our cheeks when looked at each other, the only difference being that I was probably the only one who noticed it, either way, from my guess, we both put it aside. We played for so long! Tag, hide n seek, all those fun stuff. And when Pink went to go do something real quick, Spinel stuck with me where we would play, talk, and enjoy each other's company. I wish it could be just me and her, but it didn't matter, as long as I got enjoy her company. Though, over time, I noticed Pink get more and more bored of the games, bored of the playing, bored of Spinel.... and then one day, Pink went up to me while I was playing rock, paper, scissors with Spinel and crouched down to my level.

Pink: Y/N, may I speak with you for a second?

I never had a name, so I thought it would be nice to make my own. I nodded and listened. Pink Diamond was about to speak but noticed Spinel happily looking at us.

Pink: Spinel, can you go grab a flower from across the garden?
Spinel: Yeee, can do, my best friend!!

Spinel then got up and began moving like a slinky to the other side of the garden. Once far enough. Pink looked at me with a serious expression showing.

Pink: How much do you care about Spinel?

What kind of question is that?

Y/N: Well, a lot, my diamond. Why do you ask?
Pink: We need to leave her behind.

Leave her behind?

Y/N: W-why? Is she not as entertaining anymore? We can happily just hand her to the other-
Pink: The other diamonds don't want a gem for entertainment. And I can't have one anymore if I want to finally be taken seriously and given a colony.
Y/N: But my diamond, why not give her to me? That way she won't be as heartbroken!
Pink: Your powers are useful Y/N, and I can't pass up on that. Look, just don't tell her about this okay? When we leave, we don't look back.
Y/N: B-But I-
Pink: Y/N, please.

I gave up, I didn't want this to happen to Spinel, but it's Pink's orders. I nodded and she slowly ruffled my hair.

Pink: I know it's hard for you, but it has to be done.
???: I'm back!!!

We looked back to see Spinel holding two flowers.

Spinel: I brought this pink flower for you best friend!!!
