"Do you like this color?" Payton asked smacking her gum. She showed her phone with a picture of a teal bikini.

"Yeah."

"Or how about this one?" Same bikini with a peach color.

"Yeah."

"So...?"

"So what?" I asked looking at her.

"Which one?" She asked eyeing me.

"Whichever one you like most," I said.

"Ugh c'mon Kris! I need your help!"

"Payton I can't tell you which one to get. If you're buying it then you choose, not me."

"Dang." She said scrunching her face and looking away. "Someone's in a bad mood."

"No I'm not."

"What's wrong Kris?" She asked.

"Nothing!" I said my eyes getting big.

We were at our lunch table and right when I said that the two boys walked over and sat down.

"What's wrong?" Sam asked looking at me.

"Why do you think something's wrong?" I asked them.

"Because usually you're smiling, and you're not. Instead you are looking around the room biting your nails." Jake said eyeing me.

He was right. They were all right. There was something wrong. There I was biting my nails and looking around the room and avoiding talking to them. That's what I do when there's a lot on my mind usually.

I put my hand down in my lap in frustration. I leaned my head on my other hand.

"Sorry guys," I said.

"You're fine Krissy. Just tell us what you're thinking," Sam said.

"I'm just confused and frustrated," I admitted.

"Why's that?" Jake asks taking a bite into his sandwich.

"Because of Nate," I frowned.

"Oh yeah... So what happened?" Jason asks. All of them leaned in just a little in anticipation to hear what all happened.

"He said he wants to be with me again."

"So?"

"So he's willing to wait for me."

"Do you want to be with him again?" Payton asks.

"I mean there will always be a part of me that wants to, but I'm not sure that's a good idea." I frown.

"Why?" Jake asks again.

"Because we broke up, and that was one of the hardest things I had to go through. He did me bogus, and for me to just come back to it makes me look stupid," I explain.

"That's true," Payton said looking back to her phone.

"Just don't take it all too seriously right now. Just worry more about yourself and what's best for you before you make a mistake." Sam tells me.

"Okay." He's right. I should just relax and just let it all fall into place.

I got up and walked over to the vending machine to get myself a water. I put quarters in and selected the letter and number to get it. I grab my drink and right when I turn around to go back to my table I run into the person behind me.

"I'm so sorry," I say.

"It's fine," he laughs. I look up and mentally freeze. It was Wesley. His eyes are so pretty. I've never been close enough to actually look at him, but his hair isn't black. It's a dark brown and his eyes are hazel.
