The next day, Ryan took a shower, brushed her teeth, got dressed, and put on her Serpent jacket.

"Ready to go?" Dj asked. "Yeah,"Ryan said. "Behave yourself,"Blake said, "And don't get in trouble." "Can't make any promises,"Ryan said.

Ryan got in the car and Dj drove to NorthRidge. "Look, I know this is your first day at school,"Dj said, "But your mom is right, try not to get into any trouble."

Ryan nodded, and got out of the car. She stood in front of the school. Next to her was Bones, Rug, Tag, and Dexter. "Here goes nothing,"Ryan said.

They walked into the school, and everyone looked at them. "No way,"A girl said. "You can't be serious,"A boy said.

"This is going to be a very interesting four years,"Tag said. "You can say that again,"Dexter said. A man in a grey suit, with a black tie, and grey dress shoes walked up to them.

"Hello,"The man said, "I am principal Wesley, welcome to NorthRidge."

Ryan nodded. Principal Wesley showed them around, and then took them to the hang-out room. "This is where you'll stay when you get a break,"Principal Welsey said.

"Quick question Principal W,"Dexter said. "Yes?" Principal Wesley asked. "How long are school hours?" Dexter asked.

"7 hours,"Principal Wesley said. Dexter nodded. "I'll see you all later,"Principal Wesley said, "Feel free to stay here if you want."

Ryan nodded. "What are your names?" Principal Wesley asked. "Ryan,"Ryan said. "Bones,"Bones said. "Rug,"Rug said. "Tag,"Tag said. "Dexter,"Dexter said.

Principal Wesley made a weird face, but then left the room. "Great,"Ryan said, "7 hours in a school with pretty-pink-princesses." Dexter laughed.

"This is going to be something,"Dexter said. A group of boys walked into the room. "Can we help you?" Ryan asked.

"We're NorthRidges football team,"A boy said. "And that's supposed to mean?" Tag asked. "Don't try coming to this school thinking that you can screw us over with your little jackets, alright,"The boy said. "Who are you?" Ryan asked.

"I'm Tucker,"The boy said. "I'm Maxwell,"Another boy said. "I'm Tyler,"Another boy said. "I'm Trevor,"Another boy said.

"I'm Quincy,"The last boy said. "Well then,"Ryan said. "And your names?" Tyler asked.

"We go by Serpents,"Ryan said, "That's all you need to know." "Wait a minute?" Trevor asked, "You're those new kids from the SouthSide, who have no law or education?" Bones was about to attack Trevor, but Ryan looked at him. "Trevor,"Maxwell said.

"Sorry,"Trevor said. "What are your names?" Tucker asked. "I already told you that we go by Serpents,"Ryan said, "And that's all you need to know." Tucker smirked and he pushed Ryan's hand out of his face.

Bones, Tag, Rug, and Dexter pulled out their pocket knives, and pointed them Tyler, Trevor, Maxwell, and Quincy.

"Touch her again,"Bones warned, "We'll scar you." "And I'm supposed to be scared of five Jugheads?" Tucker asked.

"You don't have to be scared of them,"Ryan said as she pointed her dagger to the end of Tucker's throat, "You have to be scared of me." "And who are you?" Maxwell asked.

"Tell them,"Tag said. "I'm the daughter of the Serpent King,"Ryan warned, "So if you hurt me then you answer to him."

"The Serpent King doesn't have a daughter,"Quincy said. "How would you know?" Dexter asked, "You don't live on the SouthSide, so please, tell us, how would you know?"

They didn't say anything. Ryan smirked. "And you say we're Jugheads,"Ryan said. The bell rung.
