After many long, dragging minutes, the small pirate ship was finally built. Foxy had just returned with a cardboard box full of plastic swords, eyepatches, sailor bandanas, plastic hooks, coin bags filled with "treasure", and a fancy black and brown buccaneer-styled pirate hat with a long red ostrich feather sticking out of it. By the way Foxy looked at it with a tender fondness, you knew it must be his.

You carefully take it from him, and place it on his head with a smile.
"It suits you." He blushed at your compliment, and smiled back.
"I haven't worn this hat in a long time." "How come?," you asked.
"Since this here pizzeria shut down, I haven't been able to entertain any more kiddies."
He sighed, "I used to play with 'em, and tell them stories of me adventures...."
He gave a sad smile, "Aye, those were the days."
You looked at him with confusion. "But I thought you used to be a kid. Right now, you talk as though you were always Foxy the Pirate."
He only chuckled, "Confusin' isn't it? Me only guess is that I posses this robot's memories as well as me own."
Foxy's eyes drifted off of you, and became lost in his thoughts.
He seemed to do that often.

You absent-mindedly nod in wonder.
'How is this possible?' You sudden began wondering about his age when he was still human, and if he even still remembered his name.
"Hey Foxy?" He hummed, looking up at you again. "How old were you when you....um...passed?"
Foxy looked a little stunned at first, but his demeanor changed quickly into one of thoughtfulness.
"Considerin' I don't really age if I'm technically dead, I still be 18 years of age, lass," he answered with a small smile.

"Huh. We only have a 2 year difference," you comment, returning his tiny grin. Foxy winked at you, and threw his arms up.
"Well let us not stand here like a couple seasick dogs. How 'bout we have a little fun? What do ya say lass?"

"Absolutely!"

Ashley's POV:

'Come on Ashley! You're almost there!'
I urged myself onward, desperate to see my best friend. If anything happened to her, I would never forgive myself. I got a few funny looks from the people I passed, but I ignored them. Thankfully I caught sight of the restaurant in the distance, and made a mad dash for it, running to the back of the pizzaria, and pulling out a hair clip. After a few tries, I successfully picked the old lock, and pushed the door open.
Silently, I slipped in and let the door click shut behind me.
I found myself in the kitchen. It made sense, being that it made easy access to the dumpster outside so that the chefs could throw out wasted food, drinks, and ingredients.
I exited the kitchen, and walked into the bright light of the dining area.
'Why is the light on? No one works here anymore...right?'
"Hello?" I called out, hoping maybe there was a security guard on shift. If there was one, I could ask them if they had seen (Y/n). But I didn't get an answer. I walked over to the empty stage, feeling a shiver shoot up my spine. I felt like I was being watched.
I moved back the red curtain, and screamed.

(Y/n)'s POV:

Foxy and I were sword fighting, me dressed up like a pirate, when I heard a shrill scream. I gasped, and Foxy jumped, fur puffed out due to being spooked.
'Ashley??!' I quickly tore off my eye patch, and pirate bandana. I dropped my plastic sword, and ran to the dining room. And sure enough, Ashley was on stage, holding back the curtain, gawking at a frightened Chica.
"Ashley!!!" I ran over and threw my arms around her.

"(Y/n)!!! RUN!!"
Ashley snatched my hand, and pulled me out of the kitchen, and we ran.
We made it to the back exit just as I heard Foxy shout. "(Y/N) WAIT!!"

We were out of the building and running down the street at top speed.
When we were far away from the restaurant, we came to halt, lungs wheezing. Ashley was crying.
"(Y/n) thank god you're ok!"
She squeezed me in a death grip, before placing her shaking hands on my shoulders. "You aren't hurt are you??!" I shook my head, panting.
"I'm fine Ashley. Thank you for coming for me." I paused for a moment, before facepalming.
"I left my backpack!"

Foxy's POV:

I watched (Y/n) leave with this "Ashley" girl. I felt a pain in my chest when she ran away. Without a single goodbye. She didn't even look back.....

I thought we were friends....

I thought she cared about us....

...about me...

Ashley's POV:

"Ashley! We have to go back! If I don't get it back, Aunt Tiff and your mom will grow suspicious of us!"
I sighed. She was right. She usually was. "Fine..."
It took 10 minutes to make our way back, since we had only been running for a little while, and tiredly snuck into the kitchen's back exit.
We listened from the dark kitchen, whose lights were left off. No voices could be heard, so we peeked our heads out to see the dining area deserted. Thank god.
"I'll keep watch over the dining area. You hurry and fetch your bag."
(Y/n) nodded, and silently hurried into another room. That's when I saw a fox animatronic exit backstage with his ears lowered.
He looked....miserable....
But when I noticed he was heading toward the room (Y/n) went, I began to panic.

(Y/n)'s POV:

I entered Pirate's Cove, and snatched my bag. I hurried back out of the room, I ran smack-dab into Foxy.
My eyes widened, and before he could do anything, I ran past him and back to my friend.

"Lass wait! Please!!"

Fighting back the urge to go back to him, I brushed off Foxy's pleas, and ran out of the restaurant with Ashley once more.
