Chapter 1

Windburn High school, the only High school in the small town, was like any normal school.
The autumn leaves fell from the trees to the ground below around the school grounds,
The leaves crunched as the students walked along the leaf covered pavement.

"You know what Juliet, I think high school sucks" Katie says to her best friend.

"Hmm I guess so, mostly cause the guys in this town have no class, I still don't get why you're dating Eric tho" Juliet responds, Katie thought for a moment
"honestly I'm only dating him for experimenting purposes". Katie responds

"What experiment are you doing human biology?" Juliet jokes and Katie fake punched her shoulder.

"Yeah whatever, don't be such a hypocritical biarch, you totally have the hots for James" Katie remarks giggling, Juliet rolled her eyes

"Oh yeah speaking of Eric he's at it again" Juliet says pointing out Eric to Katie. Eric was once again bullying Bryan.

"Yeah so what, Bryan is a little freak anyway I heard he's into some crazy shit". Katie says not caring that her boyfriend was bullying another kid.

Juliet let out a soft sigh "yeah I guess you're right" she says and walked past Eric and Bryan walking ahead of Katie, who followed behind slowly.

The school bell echoed the halls and the students all head to their classes. Juliet wags class like always and she walked down the school hall heading towards the gymnasium.

A light flickered and made a buzzing sound Juliet looked up at it "they really got to fix that light oh well" Juliet says and sighed.

Footsteps crept up behind Juliet and she turned around and saw no one she shrugs s it off and turned the corner walking into Bryan.

"Oh I'm sorry" Bryan says nervously and lowered his head. Juliet stared at him for a moment.

"Bryan why aren't you in class?" Juliet asked curiously and Bryan stood there silent for a moment.

"U-uh better question is why aren't you?" Bryan responds shyly, Juliet sighed "geez you're pathetic, you can even stand up for yourself you need to grow some balls" Juliet says and pushed past him.

Bryan watched her walk away "everyone hates me but I guess it's better this way" Bryan says softly to himself and kept walking.

"Are you catching any of this lecture, Mr Bright is saying" Zac whispered to Eric who was his best friend. "No I'm not even listing dude" Eric responds simply

Eric was to busy staring at a quiet girl named Delilah, who was sitting beside Katie.

"Dude are you checking out Delilah?" Zac asked him with a whisper, Eric glanced at his friend.

"Yeah she's just as hot as Katie" Eric responds he looked back at Delilah who wasn't really paying attention to the lecture.

Katie was texting Juliet secretly "weird, Julie hasn't responded to my texts" Katie whispers to Delilah, who looked at her with a cold kind of annoyed look.

"will you shut up, I'm trying to listen to this lecture here" Delilah requests annoyance in her tone.

"Wow what's with the attitude" Katie asked Delilah who, simply just ignored Katie.

As the bell rang to signal the end of class Katie left the class room her head in her phone texting Juliet, who still hadn't responded to her texts.

Eric approached Delilah, and started hitting on her behind Katie's back. Delilah of course ignores him and turned him down and walked away

"Come on Juliet respond, bloody whore" Katie says annoyed, and wandered into the girls bathroom.

Still with her head in her phone she walked up to the mirror and hummed softly. She put her phone down on the sink and tidied her hair and left the girls bathroom.

Eric walked up to Katie "hey babe" he says pinning her to the wall. Katie looked at him and smiled

"Oh hi Eric" she says oblivious to the fact he attempted to cheat on her. Eric kissed Katie and she kissed him back.

Delilah wandered into the girls change room and saw blood across the floors and she cautiously walked deeper into the bathroom.

Delilah screamed as she witnessed the horrible scene she saw Juliet dead on the floor, blood all over the floor and walls.

A teacher who heard her screaming came in to investigate and too saw the body of Juliet her phone on the ground buzzing from Katie's texts .

The students where sent home and the police came to the scene to investigate. They looked over the victims body.

"Ah deceive Strauss what brings you to this back water town?" the sheriff asked

"The victim miss Summers family have a lot of money and they asked me to investigate their daughters murder" he responded and wandered over to a forensic officer who was examining Juliet's body

"She was stabbed multiple times" a forensic officer states to detective Strauss as he walked over

"Hmm, this is a horrible scene, a teen girl murdered in a school bathroom" the detective says he looked at the blood and notice something that caught his eye. "Hey come over here does this look like a symbol or some sort of writing to you?" The detective asked and the forensic officer checked it out.

"Yeah it does" says the guy taking photos of the scene.

"Miss Summers probably tried to write her killer's name.. no it looks almost like a symbol" the detective spoke to himself thinking out loud.

"I guess we need to check all the footage from the surveillance cameras, see if we can find anything" the detective says before leaving the scene.

Meanwhile all the students where talking about Juliet and how she was murdered at school.

Katie was sobbing as her best friend was just murdered. "Oh Juliet why did you have to die before me you stupid bitch" Katie says sobbing into her pillow at home.

"Kathy, sweetie" knocks Katie's mum who was at her door

"Go away mum I'm not in the mood right now" Katie shouts back at her mum still hugging her pillow.

"Kathrine, please let me in" her mum says sweetly, Katie wipes away her tears and she. Slowly stood up and she walked over to the door and opened it a little

"Yes mum what do you want?" Katie says her tone of voice sad her mum gave her a soft smile "Kathy dear I'm so sorry about what happened" her mum says softly

"Just shut up about Juliet mum I don't want to hear it" Katie shouts slamming the door and laying back in bed and cried herself to sleep.
