Lieke POV
We wake up in the morning. ''Did you sleep well?'' asks Daan. ''Yes and you?'' ''Yes!'' We walk downstairs. We grab a plate and make some breakfast. I eat bread with cheese. I'm very excited about tonight because Daan and I go a night out, and today we go to a theme park. We walk upstairs and get dressed. We brush our teeth and fix our hair. We walk back downstairs. Daan grabs her car keys and we drive to the theme park.
When we arrive we walk into the entrance. We go to the first rollercoaster. We wait for 5 minutes and then we go into the first rollercoaster. I see Daan getting nervous. I think she's a bit scared and it's kinda cute. Suddenly she grabs my hand, holding him tightly. I feel myself getting goosebumps and my heart skips a beat. Damn Liek, what the hell is this girl doing to you? ''Are you scared too?'' asks Daan. ''Uhm no.'' Fuck she hears my heartbeat! The rollercoaster starts riding. I feel that Daan squeezing my hand. ''Daan chill, it'll be fine.''
''OMG, that was the scariest roller coaster I have ever sat on!'' says Daan. I start laughing. ''Come we go to the Ferris wheel.'' ''Yes, good idea!'' says Daan. We walk to the Ferris wheel. After 20 minutes we go out of the Ferris wheel. ''That was better!'' says Daan.
After 3 hours we go back home. When we arrived we make ourselves ready because Daan and I go a night out.
We walk inside and sit down on the couch. ''Want something to drink?'' asks Daan. ''A coke please.'' she stands up and walks to the kitchen. Shall I tell it her tonight? I look at Daan. I check her out from cap-a-pie. Damn, this girl is hot. She turns around and I look away as fast as I can. Hopefully she didn't saw me looking at her. She hands me the drink. ''Thanks.'' I smile at her, she smiles back. She sits back down next to me. ''Wanna watch a movie or something?'' asks Daan. ''Sure.'' she grabs the remote and puts on a movie at Netflix.
After an hour I hear the doorbell ringing. Daan looks confused at me. ''Who shall that be? I don't expect someone..'' says Daan. She walks to the door. I look at her, curious who it will be. She opens the door and I see a girl. ''Beff! Oh my god I'm so happy to see you!'' says Daan. She pulls the girl in for a hug. ''Come in!'' says Daan. The girl comes in and walks with Daan to me. ''Lieke, this is Beff. Beff, this is Lieke!'' says Daan. I give her a hand. ''Nice to meet you...Beff?'' the blonde girl chuckles at my reaction. ''Actually, it's Beth. But my little princess over her can't pronounce it.'' says she. Her little princess? ''Then your parents shouldn't have given you such a difficult name!'' says Daan with a small smirk on her face. ''It isn't that difficult darling.'' says Beth. Darling? ''Oh, by the way, she is my girlfriend!'' says Daan with a big smile on her face. I feel a big float of sadness coming over me. Her girlfriend? ''O-Oh, I didn't know you had a girlfriend...''
''Well I have!'' says Daan still with a big smile on her face. Beth puts her arm around Daan her waist while standing behind her. She kisses her neck slowly. ''Beff, no. Not now!'' says Daan. ''I was just being sweet!'' says Beth. ''No, you were just being the annoying fucker who you are.'' says Daan with a smirk on her face. Beth rolls her eyes at Daan. I try to be happy for Daan but I just can't. I was about to tell her this night that I loved her and now she already has a girlfriend. I feel some tears coming up but I can't cry now so I hold them back. ''Liek, is everything oké?'' asks Daan with a kinda worried look on her face. ''U-uh, yes. Everything is oké.'' I give her a soft smile, trying to act like there's nothing to worry about. ''But why are you here?'' asks Daan Beth.
''I just wanted to see my girlfriend because I missed her and I can't sleep. Is there something wrong with that?'' says Beth while grinning at Daan. ''No, nothing wrong.'' Daan smirks at the girl. ''Lieke, is it oké if Beth goes with us to the restaurant?'' asks Daan. Actually, I want to say no because I want to be with Daan, only Daan. But I know I can't say that. ''Yes, that's totally oké!'' Daan smiles at me. ''Thanks.'' says she. She walks to me and gives me a quick hug. ''We still have two hours. Shall we continue the movie?'' asks Daan. Beth and I agree. We sit down on the couch, I grab the remote and continue the movie. Daan snuggles up with Beth and I sit on the other side of the couch. I stare at Daan. I have to be the person who's holding her. Not that Beth, Daan deserves much better. I look back at the tv screen and try to set my mind to other things. But it doesn't work, the only one who I can think of is Daan.
