Chapter 1

My 6 am alarm clock went off for me to start getting ready and to do my daily hygiene routine. Getting up early is aggravating. I can't wait till Breanna learn how to drive. I'm tired of driving to school every day and I got to pick her up. Sometimes I be wanting to skip school or sleep in late, but I have to think about her. Let me go pick her up, so I could stop at Burger King and order me some hash browns. They taste like tator tots they are so good. Breanna live around the corner from Burger King, so that's my next stop. Then I'll be heading to West Jefferson High home of the lions. It's going to be another boring day at school. I wonder what we going to do today.

      My 6:30 alarm went off and I accidently hit snoozed. Oh, shit I overslept. I need to hurry up and get dressed and do my hygiene routine before Natalie pulls up and start blowing that horn crazy. I hope she stop at Burger King so I can have more time to finish doing what I'm doing. I'm going to ask Natalie if we can go get our nails and toes done today. I need a refill and a new color. If she says no, I'm going to still persuade her too. I can't wait to learn how to drive so I don't have to depend on anyone. I know she get tired of brining me everywhere I go. If my mom didn't get on drugs I wouldn't be in the predicament. My dad works overseas and pays the bills, I know I would have an Audi A7.  An Audi was always my dream car. Maybe when he facetimes me later I'll be able to ask him to give me money for driving school and I can finally learn how to drive.

      Today Is the day I fly back to Louisiana and see what Stacy hoe ass been doing.  She probably with that Duke nigga. I need to find me a girlfriend and divorce Stacy. I couldn't trust her ever since I found out Breanna wasn't mines. That day hurt my heart, but I still manage treat her like she's mine. I lost all my love for Stacy. I finally retired from the army. I was a full bird Colonel and I took my job serious. I still was selling dope. I had my cash stash in my trap house across town. My lil cousin Pookie was holding it down on Loyola. Pookie and I started this business when we around 14. My dad and his dad were business partners, so we figured we could do the same. Pookie was in charge of paying Stacy bills while I was overseas. He told me Duke put Stacy on drugs and she not trying to help herself. She doesn't know Pookie my cousin. Even though Stacy on drugs I try to keep a roof over they head and make sure Breanna have what she needs.

     I'm tired of Duke ass always getting me high and disappearing. He needs to stop. I'm trying to put myself through rehab, but duke just making it worst for me. He's very toxic. I risked everything for a man that I love. Now I can't fin for myself or my little girl. I know Breanna hates me by now. I'm really trying to better myself for my daughter. I know when Anthony bring his ass here, he going to make me feel even worser about myself. I'm in a fucked up position right now. I hate my life. I'm just trying to get clean, so I won't have the worst mother of the year award.
