Kidney stones.

Elijah took me to the hospital unconvinced that I wasn't pregnant, the doctors had me take a blood test and urine test to verify if I was or wasn't.

"This is going to kill me" I sighed sitting on the toilet trying to push them out

"Drink some water, it won't come out just by you doing that" Elijah chuckles shaving the beard that threatens to sprout

Getting up I pulled up my boxers, washing my hands I laid on our bed stretching my head.

"Where's your brush?" Elijah questions rubbing on my ass

"Under the sink" I mutter swatting his hand away, tossing the covers over myself I closed my eyes getting comfortable

I heard Elijah moving around then the bed dipped, he sat me up before getting behind me.

"Bae" I whine

"Hmm?" he hums brushing my hair, from the bottom to the top. The correct way in my opinion.

"Can you do this later? I'm tired"

"No, I have a to meet with painters at the shop later"

I sat quietly as he brushed out the knots in my hair, when he was finished we went into the bathroom to the tub.

Sitting on my knees I hummed to myself as he washed my hair massaging my scalp from time to time.

"You need a trim" Elijah mumbles putting a towel around my hair after he ranged it out, turning the water off he helped me up

"Well do it, Mr. I'm about to open up a barbershop and tattoo joint" I joke

"I will, but not now. I have to go" he hands me the blow dryer while checking his watch

"No" I whine grabbing his arm "I don't wanna deal with this, that's why you were doing it"

"Babe, just blow dry it, I'll cut it and help pick out a style when I get back"

I laid the dryer on the counter then followed Elijah into our room, getting into bed with the towel around my head I watched him changed in jeans and a plain shirt.

"I'll be right here when you come back"

Glancing at me he shook his head, taking out two water bottles he sat them on the nightstand before kissing my lips.

"Those better be empty by the time I come back" he murmurs against my lips "call me if you need anything"

"Just stay" I mutter licking his chin, he backed up wiping his face

"Benjamin is down the hall if you need him and Delilah and Tiana are still in the basement practicing"

"Okay" I nod

"Papa, it hurts!" I cried through the phone as I felt the kidney stones come out one by one

"I know it does, the more you drink water the more will come out. Keep drinking it though, the faster they come out the better"

"It feels like my organs are coming out, hurry up and get here"

"I'm at the light, I'll be there shortly" he huffs hanging up

Wiping my tears I sat on the toilet as the lumps of blood continued to come out painfully slowly.
