Betty was set out for adoption, because the police had reported the parents dead. In the foster home Betty cried herself to sleep every night, wishing that she would be able to see her parents again, just to say she loved them, but she was too late. Betty could never be happy again, she never could love anybody the way she loved her own parents. When Betty finally was adopted by a couple with no children, she couldn’t sleep anymore, she always had to check the locks and the windows. She couldn’t trust anybody, not even her adopters. She never had a boyfriend and soon, after years of being bullied about her weight , being adopted, height, depression she couldn’t take anymore and Betty had committed suicide.
