I never got to say anything about myself, I'd rather not. My names Arreis, I'm 27 years old. I have long curly brown hair but I usually wear it in a side braid. I shoot a compound bow, and before shit went down I used to be part of Atlanta PD (police department). I was out on the Atlanta streets surviving by myself for 2 months. I had my best friend but she died, and my others ones I never saw after the outbreak. I'll find them one day, hopefully.
Arreis Pov: The last thing I remembered was being dragged into the prison. Then I blacked out. I woke up in a prison cell. I sat up so quickly it made me light headed. A older man in his 70's walked in. "I see your awake. My names Hershel. That cut on your leg was pretty nasty but I stitched ya up." His voice was gravelly. "Thanks, I really appreciate it." I replied back. "Here take these and drink some water, you where so dehydrated when they brought you here. Then you need to rest. I'll have Maggie show you around when you are better." Hershel said, then left without letting me ask any questions. I grabbed the pills he handed me and the water and took them. I wondered who Maggie was and how they had found this prison. I had so many questions. I drank all the water then fell in a deep sleep. When I awoke from my deep sleep I had to pee so bad. I got up and started looking around. My leg was a little sore but not too bad. I was just about to walk down the stairs when a voice stopped me. "I see ya already tryin to steal our shit and get away." I turned quick to see Daryl leaning against one of the cell doors. "Oh go fuck yourself." I replied hatredly. He got up and started walking towards me. I stood still and crossed my arms, challenging him. He got close until he was 3 inches away from me. I never noticed how attractive he really was until he got this close. His dark brown hair, blue eyes, and muscular body. My stomach turned. "Watch your mouth sunshine." He whispered in my ear and walked past me down the stairs bumping into my shoulder on the way down. Chills went down my spine when he whispered into my ear. I could not have feeling for this asshole. No. Not me. I went back to my cell and changed my clothes. I put on my dark blue jeans, a hoodie and my combat boots. I walked out of the room and followed the steps Daryl had went down. Hershel saw me and whispered something to a girl, about my age and she came walking towards me. "Hi, I'm Maggie. Hershel's my father he told you I would show you around a bit." Her voice was nice and comforting. "Hi, Arreis. Yeah he mentioned it to me." After Maggie was done walking me around she wanted to introduce me to the other people. "This is Carol, Carl's over there, Daryl I'm sure you already know him, Tyreese, Lori and this is her baby Judith, Shasha, Beth she's my sister, Michonne, and Rick he's the leader." She named them off. I think I could remember them all. "Well I see your showing her around. I need to have a talk with you. Now." Rick stated. "Um okay..." I replied in a confused tone. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into a hall where Daryl already was. "What's your name? How many walkers have you killed? How many people have you killed?" I was overwhelmed with questions. "Wha- um, my names Arreis, I've killed so many I can't count, I haven't killed any people why?" Rick just stood there waiting for me. I didn't know what the hell else he wanted. Then Daryl walked over to me and started getting up all in my face. "Are you sure about that?! I don't trust you." He said while pinning a finger on my chest. I pushed him away as hard as I could. "Get the fuck out of my face asshole!" He came back and slammed me into the wall pinning me up against it. I tried to push him off but he was too strong. Rick pulled Daryl off of me and he pushed Rick off and walked behind him. "Hey! What is with you two. Stop!" I just looked at Rick. "He started it. I didn't ask for this, for you guys to save me and I sure as hell didn't ask for his bullshit." I said through gritted teeth. "You would of died! You best be lucky!" Daryl yelled. "I would not have died! I've survived on my own for two months don't need help now." I yelled back. Daryl just scoffed. "So far I don't trust you, I'm gonna take your weapons and Daryl has to keep an eye on you from now on." Rick said. "But What if something happens I need my weapons! And really Daryl? I'd rather die than have him watch me 24/7." I complained. "Your gonna have to deal with it if you want to stay here." Rick said sternly. "Well I'm not staying, I'm leaving tomorrow morning. And I want my stuff back." I practically yelled in Ricks face, then I walked away without looking back.

Daryls pov: I was getting sick of Arreis thinking she could just do what she wants. She's stubborn. "We can't let her leave, she'll die out there, and we need her." Rick said. "So. Bitch asked for it." I said harshly. "I know she did but she's strong, we could use her here." Rick said back. "Okay. I'll try to stop her then. And keep her weapons, one less reason she'll leave." I reasoned. Rick nodded and then walked off. I went to my cell. My cell was on the other side of Arreis's exactly across. What a coincidence. Ugh I hated her. But she was so attractive. No. I couldn't be feeling anything for this bitch. I sat down on the bottom bunk and grabbed my crossbow, looking it over. I put it down and got up. I went out of my cell and sneaked out of the prison. I needed to let it out. I walked to the fence where all the walkers where leaning up against it, growling and clawing at the fence. I grabbed my knife and started stabbing the walkers in the head. Dropping them one by one.

Arreis Pov: What the hell?! Now I have to be watched by Daryl 24/7 I'd rather die. He was an asshole. I sat in my cell messing with the necklace Luna gave me before she died. It was a silver sunshine on a chain. This was dumb. I really wanted to leave, be on my own. Maybe i'd find my other friends. That was a very little chance though. I jumped out of my bunk and walked down the stairs and out the door. I ran to the other side of the building, slide down the wall and sat. Ever since the outbreak it had gotten worse. Me being depressed. A warm tear ran down my check and I grabbed the razor in my back pocket. More tears ran down my face and I could take it anymore. I slide it across my wrist. I did it two more times the third one deeper. That's when I heard someone coming. I shoved my hands in the hoodie pockets covering my freshly made cuts. "Oh. Sorry I was looking for tyreese." Shasha said while turning on her heals and leaving. Good thing it wasn't Daryl or Rick or someone stupid. I thought to myself. I walked back in the prison and went to my cell, I grabbed some gauze and wrap and turned to walk to the bathroom but bumped into someone. "Watch where the f-" but I got cut off. "What happened?" It was Daryl, what the fuck did he want? "The fuck would you care for?" I practically whispered, Then started headed to the bathroom but he grabbed my arm. "Where do you think your going? You never answered me." Daryl shouted. I was afraid he would see my wrist so I shoved it deeper in my pocket. "It's nothing I fell, scraped my arm." I said trying to pull away. But his grip was too tight. "Okay, we'll be more careful." He said while letting go of my arm and walking away. What? He just said to be careful, not that I was a stupid bitch or anything. He was actually being kinda nice. I brushed it off and headed to the bathroom. I got in and made sure no one was around then pulled out the aid equipment I brought. I put the gauze on the freshly made cuts and wrapped my wrist. I looked up into the mirror and studied myself. My hair has grown a lot longer since the outbreak. I undid my braid and grabbed the brush sitting on the counter. I started brushing my knotted hair. It seemed like forever I was finally done and was putting it back in the braid. "Why don't you leave it down, you have beautiful hair." I swung around to see Maggie leaning against one of the stall doors. "Sorry you startled me, and I don't know it's just easier in a braid." I replied. "Oh. Well where having dinner in 5 minutes you need to come." Maggie said while walking out of the bathroom. Um okay. I thought in my head. I walked out of the bathroom and to the cafeteria. Everyone sat at two tables chatting. I sat down by Glenn. "Hey Arreis! Where ya been?"
"I guess just hangin around." I replied shyish. Carol put a plate in front of me it consisted of deer meat and some canned corn. I caught Daryl looking at me from the corner where he stood. I looked away quickly. I finished my food and Carol came back by to take my plate. I dismissed myself and went back up to my cell. Ugh my brain was full of so many thoughts. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten off on the wrong foot with Daryl, but he's an asshole. He's kind of like me though. Doesn't like to be around people that much, has a temper, doesn't take shit from anybody. I was done with feeling this way. I got up and walked out of my cell in search for Daryl. I walked from cell to cell and found his across from mine. He was sitting on his bunk messing with his fingernails. "Hey." I said while walking in and sitting against the wall. "What are ya doing?" He asked quickly. "Um... I'm sorry about earlier today. I shouldn't have called you names and stuff. I think we got off on the wrong foot." I said as quickly as possible. I felt my checks turn red. I couldn't believe I was apologizing to this asshole. "Oh." Is all he said. I could tell he wasn't good with this kind of stuff. "Still gonna watch me like a hawk?" I said trying to make conversation. "Yeah. I can hardly trust you." Daryl replied. "Look I'm sorry. It Doesn't matter because I'm leaving tomorrow anyway." I snapped. Then I got up and walked to my cell.

Daryls pov: What was I doing? I'm not good with this stuff but I let her just walk away. She actually apologized. I'm not gonna let her leave tomorrow, I'll stop her. I laid down and drifted into a deep sleep. Waiting for tomorrow to come.
