Avery's POV
"Wait, you guys are kicking me out?" I almost shout, my jaw clenching. I didn't even give my parents a chance to speak before I start again.
"You do realize I have nowhere to go right?"

My dad placed the small suitcase next to me.

"You think we don't Avery!? huh? You think we'll just sit around and watch you ruin your life along with ours?!" my dad shouts back.

"Mom are you seeing this!?" I ask her.

"Yes Avery, we can no longer tolerate your behavior. I just can't believe this is  my perfect little girl-Who are you?" she looks at me as if she was disgusted by my presence.

I gasp, "I'm your daughter mom" I almost whisper.
My dad scoffs and walks inside, leaving the door behind him ajar.

"No Avery, I don't live with whores. We are cutting you off. Any thing you need, you have enough money in your bank account to last you a lifetime. You're never to step foot in the church again. Have a nice life." she says and walks into the house then slams the door shut.

I stood on the porch, my mouth agape. Must say, I'm shocked.

I never expected this from my parents. I thought when they find out I'm pregnant, they'll be by my side and support me through this but I was wrong.

Tears were now blurring my vision.
I bite my lower lip ,trying to hold them back. My own mother just called me a whore.

I walked up to the door and knock softly. "Mom, dad , Please let me in" I say , my forehead was now leaning against the door as I let my tears out.

"Please, please let me in, I'm sorry," I cry "I'm sorry I let you down, I'm sorry I couldn't be the perfect daughter you wanted, okay, I'm sorry for everything"

From the corner of my eyes I can see the neighbors watching, but they did nothing.
They just stared at me and went back into their houses.

At some point I knew they all hated me. Why? Long story short, let's just say I stabbed Mr. and Mrs. Williams cat because it scratched me in the face and accidentally burnt Mr.Lee's business files and I did a bunch of other stuff to the other neighbors but whatever, you need to learn to put the past behind and forget and move on.

Almost thirty minutes and my parents were still ignoring me at the door, so I decide to give up and go get a drink.

I walk for a few minutes down the street as I recall the moment I found out I was pregnant.

I lift the pregnancy test slowly as my hands Trimble. "Please be negative, please be negative..." I mumble, my eyes tightly shut. I knew there was one day I will get pregnant if I don't slow down, but I just...didn't care. I should have done the right thing but... I didn't.

So here I am, sitting on the toilet seat ,hoping and praying I'm not pregnant.
Why?
For fuck's sake I'm only 19. I have a freaking life to live!

The object in my hand beeps and my eyes expand when it reads positive.

I went back into my room to hide the test, but someone knocks on the door, and I start to freak out.

I looked around and my closet door was open.
I Sprint to the other side of my huge room to the closet as my eyes search frantically for some place to hide it .

The white hoodie catches my eyes and I threw the test in the pocket of the hoodie.

"Avery honey, dinner is ready." my mom calls from the other side of the door before she opens it and peeks in.

"mom! I heard you. How many times do I have to tell you I need my privacy?" I ask her.

"sorry hon- " she gasps "Avery, are you okay? you're sweating" she says walking up to me. She cups my face with her small hands looking into my eyes, for a few seconds.

Her eyes widen and she takes a step back. "Are you on drugs?" she asks.

"what! No mom, I'm not on drugs"

She squints her eyes at me for a few seconds.

"okay, let's go eat" she says and leads me out of the room.

"You're pregnant!?" Nate shouts.
"Hey keep it down!" I whisper at him, "and yes I'm pregnant"

"So what did your parents do? I'm seeing a suitcase and I'm assuming that you got kicked out?" he asks and I nod. "And I'm not allowed to ever step foot in the church again"

Nate was the bartender of this bar for about three years now, I've known since then.
He was kind of like my best friend but we didn't really get to hangout much. He was always working.

Unlike me. I had it all . I went out whenever I wanted, and did what ever I wanted and didn't have to work because my parents are loaded.

"Well then you shouldn't be drinking" he says with slight anger in his voice and pulls away the alcohol from me.

"Hey, give it back that's only my third drink, I need more" I tell him pouting.

"I think you've had enough. So tell me all about him" Nate says resting his elbows on the surface in front of him.

"About who" I ask.

"The father" Nate says.

"The...what now?" I ask.

"Oh my god , Avery Amaya Salton, please tell me you know who the father is" he says and I let out a nervous chuckle as he glares at me.

"Okay I was at a party and I was drunk as fuck. And then they were these two hot guys standing in a corner drinking and I walked up to them and said "hey who's up for a three some", they agreed and the next morning I woke up they were  gone. So no, I don't know who's the father."

"uh fuck fuck fuck"  he groans running his fingers through his hair.
"So what are you gonna do, have you figured out anything yet" he asks.

"Well  I have plenty of money in my bank account" I tell him.
"And I didn't get to figure things out as yet but I'll manage."

"You Know Aves, for the Priest's daughter I understand why your parents weren't expecting this from you." Nate says.

"No one is perfect Nate" I say then clear my throat.
"I Know" he almost whispers.

"Hey you wanna crash at my place? You can stay as long as you need" he asks and places a bottle of coke in front of me.
"Sure, thank you" I say, forcing a smile.

"I'll be right back, I'll be off in thirty minutes." he says and ruffles my messy hair.

I guy dressed in black pulled a stool and sat about four feet from me and I just sat there staring at him.
He is so hot- No! Avery don't, that's the same thing that got you in this mess in the first place, my subconscious reminds me. Whatever.

I dragged my stool close to him and he looked at me like I was a mad woman.

"Hi" I say and smile at him. To be honest I'm seeing this guy for the first time in my life so yes I'm talking to a stranger.

Alcohol makes you do crazy things.
