Don't Leave Me...

<Nico's POV>

"VANESSA!" I yelled, but it was no use, she was in too deep. I quickly turned around to see who or what had pushed her in.

It was my sister, Hazel Levesque.

"Hazel! What the Hades!?" I scremed at my sister.

"Nico, don't trust-" she began, but I cut her off.

"NO! Hazel, she was the best thing that's ever happened to me,and now you've practically drowned her!" I gave Hazel a death glare.

"Hey sis, if you knew whats good for you, you'd leave Vanessa alone." and without a second thought, I plunged into the lurky waters.

Once my face was submerged in water, I swam around frantically in search for Vanessa. Unfortunatey, I couldn't find her anywhere.

<Vanessa's POV>

I felt shaky hands pressed up against my back, and the next thing I knew, I was being shived into the water witha graceful thunk!

I remembered I couldn't swim, and then I sank to the bottom. I brethed in hopelessly, my last breath,I assumed.

Before I could even let out some oxygen, the lake floor rumbled and I was enclosed in an oxygen bubble.

I assumed this was Percy's doing, but boy, was I wrong.

It was Poseidon.

"My lord Poseidon,why have you assisted me? " I asked him.

"Well, you are a friend of Percy's aren't you?" He asked me, escortung me to a nice table with deserts and drinks. I didn't eat or drink anything, because the desert was saltwater taffy, and the drink-you guessed it- was salwater.

"Yes." I responded back.

"Plus," he added, "You are important to the gods, little one."

I laughed at that one. "Me? Important? How so?"

"Well,your singing can heal all, can't it?" He raised an eyebrow.

I stared at him.

"Not everyone." I muttered under my breath.

"What?"

"Oh, uh, nothing. So why am I here exactly?" I desperately asked.

"Well,I must speak quickly, for the air bubble won't last much longer. But, beware,for someone at camp has betrayed you all, and they will cause great destruction if not stopped." He said, looking extremely worried.

"But who-" But before I could finish thst statement, the air bubble popped, and I was gasping for air.

I felt a pair of extremely strong arms wrap around me, and I passed out after that, not remembering a thing.

<Nico's POV>

I swam to the shore and sprinted to the Poseidon cabin.I pounded on the door like a mad man until Percy finally opened up.

"Sup Neeks?" he asked.

"Its Vanessa. Hazel pushed her into the water and she can't swim, nor can I. I need you to go get her, before its to late."

"I'm on it." he said slapping me on the shoulder. I gathered up the rest of the seven, including Will, and dragged them to the beach.

When we all arrived there, Percy was swimming to shore with Vanessa in his hands. She looked uncontious, almost...

dead.

He lay her on the sand, where she just lay there, limp.
