An attempt at explaining the Kitlannaverse

The freaking universe

So basically the first thing about the Kitlanna verse is that there are a heck ton of universes. There are three types of universes, closed universes, open universes and alternate universes. 

Closed universes: Closed universes are basically disconnected universes that are impossible to visit or enter from a different universe. If someone from a different universe somehow managed to even get in there everyone in the universe and the universe itself would not notice them. They'd basically be a ghost and be sort of trapped there. Closed universes usually have a plot line which is why they're closed, so that characters from other universes don't get in there and mess it up. If you're extremely powerful however you can rip a hole in a closed universe.

Open universes: Open universes are universes that can be entered and possibly even edited. Open universes may have plot lines but they are constantly developing and changing instead of  sticking to one plot and have many characters. Open universes act more like a world setting than a story. Creating open universes can be risky since powerful beings have the power to edit them. However open universes if big enough have the possibility to create alternate universes and if there are enough AUs then entering and open universe could be hard with out getting lost in tons of alternate ones. Not all open universes are aware of other universes or even alternate ones while in others the other universes are recognized and sometimes even traveled to.

Alternate universes: Alternate universes are basically open universes but with either little tweaks or big changes. An alternate universe can range from a tweak in a characters personality or a full on war. AUs are rare and only occur in really big universes.

There's some other universe stuff though, if a closed universe gets really freaking big it can crack causing it to open to other universes and even get AUs.
