Montana
3am"Girl, there's ballers out there tonight!" One of the other dancers yelled out to her friend, holding a bunch of hundred dollar bills in her hand.
I hadn't went out yet but all of the girls that went on before me were coming back with loads and loads of money. See, that's the thing about stripping. One night you could make $40 dollars the next night, you could make $4,000 dollars. It all depends and that's why I couldn't get a regular 9-5 like I originally wanted to. They didn't pay or guarantee this kind of money.
"Who's out there?" I spoke softly to Chocolate as she counted a bunch of money.
"Some rapper guys and their entourages." She shrugged.
"They're paying good but they're also asking for private dances in the champagne room." She looked at me knowingly, meaning that these girls were probably having sex with them for extra money in the VIP rooms.
"No way. I'm not doing that." I shook my head, feeling my stomach turn.
I refused to have sex with any of these weird men. I'd starve before I went that low.
"I know that's right." She nodded, looking me in the eyes.
"Make that money, mama. Don't let it make you."
"Remember that." She pointed at me.
I simply nodded my head, saying nothing.
"Come on. You're up next." She went onto say as she made sure my hair was slicked into the bun before we walked out.
Walking out onto the floor, I immediately saw the guys that everybody was talking about. I instantly became nervous as one of the guy's eyes fell upon me. Though there was already a girl dancing in front of him, he was staring at me.
Looking away, I walked toward my assigned pole. I danced slowly, doing the moves and tricks Chocolate taught me when I first started here. I danced all the way until the end of the song, not even realizing all eyes were on me.
Looking back, I saw the entire club watching me and a bunch of money on the floor.
Shit.
Nervousness took over my body as I picked up my money and retreated to the back. I placed my money into my bag before going back out for another round.
"Let's make this quick." I told myself, biting my lip.
As soon as I came from the back, the rapper guy that was looking at me before was now standing right by the entrance.
"I want a dance from you, little mama."
"$30 per song." I spoke softly and he chuckled, nodding as I grabbed his hand.
I guided him back to his seat and he sat down, looking up at me. I felt so small and degraded in his eyes but this was every night. And just like every night, I'd get over it once I made my money.
"Money first." I sassed and he chuckled, pulling out a hundred.
"There you go, little mama."
Not your little mama.
Sneakily rolling my eyes, I turned around so that he could get a good view of my ass. Summer Walker's - Karma then came on as I began to dance for him.
The song's only 3 minutes and 8 second, Montana. Keep it together. I thought to myself. Just trying not to get discouraged. The customers could feel when you did.
Nice to meet you, I'm sorry. I'm just here to do my job.
Nice to meet you, no running. Please don't fear me, I'm just karma
