Y/n's POV

"Well we can go with you two"Camila said. I don't know why they wanted to hang out all of a sudden. If I hadn't came to New York. They'd still be doing what they normally do. "Guys just go"I said "what?" Lex said. "Guys let's face it. If I was back in California you all would still be doing what y'all do. And I would be sitting in my living room scrolling through the channels on my tv. Wondering what I should make for lunch" I said and their faces showed that they knew I was right. "Exactly. So guys maybe we can do a rein check? How about Wednesday?"they quickly nodded their heads

"Alright well.."a knock interrupted me. I opened it and it was Taylor. "Hey you" I said and took the food from her hands and set them on the table. "Hey guys me and Y/n were just about to watch a movie. You wanna watch it with us?" They nodded their heads. "Hey guys there's some spare rooms in the hall right there. You guys can sleep in there."they all grabbed their stuff and headed to where the rooms were

After a few minutes she came back with plates and silverware "Whats with all the tension?"she said "just something stupid, but it's over now"she nods her head and kissed my cheek "I knew you loved me"I said while grabbing some napkins "don't get cocky"she said while smiling

Lex's POV

"I'm loosing her. Tati I don't wanna loose my best friend to...that bitch"I said while hugging her. "I know baby. Well let's pick our rooms then shall we?."Tati said to them "Alright so Kells, Selena, and Ariana you guys get that room. Me and Tati along with Jess and Mclane will get that room. And lastly Camila and Chantel you guys get the other room" I said and they nodded their heads "look babe as much as it hurts. Just think about it. Taylor probably lives in like Washington or somewhere. She probably stays in a hotel in Cali just for work" Tati said and it made me feel more better

"You know what? You're totally right"I said hugging her. "I'm gonna get something to drink"I said and she nodded her head. I was walking to the kitchen and I saw them. She looked happy for once. I saw Taylor kiss her cheek...and she smiled. She looked so in love and I was so happy for her. "See I knew you loved me"she said playfully while getting napkins "don't get cocky"Taylor said while smiling. "Maybe this trip won't be so bad after all for her"I said and went back to my room "hey babe. Did you get something to drink?"I shook my head "no but I did see something" I said

"What was it?" Jess said "Taylor kissed her cheek. I think she's finally found someone"I said smiling "Wait really?!. Babe it's working. She's taking our advice" Mclane said "what advice?" Tati said "we told Y/n that she should get out more and meet new people"Jess said "that is so stupid" I said "well it worked didn't it?" They said with a smile "I guess so" Me and Tati said "well...should I tell her I know?" I asked and they nodded their heads and I nodded my head and headed out. I walked out and saw them eating so I listened in on the conversation

"So alexia? She's something" Taylor said "Alexis." Y/n said "huh?" Taylor looked at her confused "you said alexia...her names Alexis" she said while eating "well Alexis is something else" Taylor said and y/n looked at her weirdly "how?" Y/n said "because she's just really about you, you know?"she told her "she's not all about me she's just very protective of me. And I thank her everyday for that."Y/n said. I smiled at her words. "Well I don't know y/n she seemed too overprotective" I was this close to knocking this bitch out. Like is she for real right now? "Taylor there's nothing going on between us. She has a beautiful girlfriend" she said smiling

"And plus I don't think she's doing too much. She's just normal" that's right y/n dragggggg her. "Look Taylor if you have a problem with lex then maybe we should keep doing this" she said to her. "Look I understand. I'll keep my cool about it. But hey I have to head out because I need to catch my flight for a photo shoot with Guess tomorrow in Cali. So just text me when you come back" Y/n nods her head and Taylor grabs her car keys and purse and heads out. Once the door closes I step out of my place and make my presence made. "Hey y/n" she looked at me "hey Alexis" I rolled my eyes

"what I thought we were both saying the others first name now"she said smiling "wanna go to this restaurant with me? Or like cafe? Or maybe just the store with me? Whatever you want really. And we can just hang out like old times for today before we all hang out tomorrow?" She looks at me and pauses her show. She smiles and nods her head and gets her shoes on. "Yea come on. I'll drive" she said grabbing her keys "alright. Let's" I said and she led me out the hotel room.

Outside

"Tesla?"I said "newest one"she said while unlocking the car. "Nice. I somehow knew you'd have this car"I said smiling. "So where to?" I asked "I know this nice coffee shop. Kinda type cafe"she said and just took me there. "So how's New York treating you?"she looked at me "it's treating me good so far. I know y'all thought I wouldn't make it but I've done so many things" she said while smiling. We pulled into the cafe and she parked and locked the car. She then had took me to a booth in the center of the place. "Can I get you two ladies anything?" A waitress said

"yea I'll take a coffee" she looked at me "I'll take a coffee as well. With a muffin please" I said and she nodded her head "wait can I also get some eggs and pancakes?" Y/n said and the waitress nodded "screw it. Me too"I said and we laughed. "Alright ladies. I will have that for you in a bit" she then left and left us alone "hey what's on your mind lex?" She said while smiling "I'm just...why?" She looked at me weird. "Why'd I come?" I shook my head "why'd you just not come to me if you felt this way?" I said and the waitress came back with our coffees "Thankyou" she said to her

"Because I didn't want to bother you...or Tati. Or anyone else. You all have lives. I have my own life. I might not have any type of job but still" she said while sipping her drink. "I don't want to put that on anything or anyone else" she said smiling "I get that. I'm sorry for not being the bestfriend I should be....for now on it's going to be different"I said while smiling and she smiled back. "Here you are ladies"the waitress said to us. She handed us our food and left. It's safe to say I might just be able to save us
