Ep. 4

A week later in California

Lex's POV (btw half the story will mainly be Y/n and Lex's POV)

All of us were in a plane on our way to New York. We were able to get a flight right away so that was the good part. The worst part was seeing people just stare at us the whole time.

Skip flight

We landed and made it through the airport surprisingly. Camila tapped me "do you think she's ok?" I shrugged my shoulders "it's New York tho she's probably in her room still" I suggested and Camila calmed down to that. We both knew Y/n for almost 20 years now. We know how introverted she gets in new settings. "Well there's always a bright side to everything."she said and I smiled and hugged her. "We're here"Jess said and we got out the taxi and went into the building. "We're here to see Ms. Mendes" I said and the lady paying no attention to us gave us the room number and we left to her room

"Alright guys when we get there just remember not to attack her with anger but with love. She's been by herself this whole time. She's probably sad and tired right now"Selena said and we all nodded our heads. "Alright guys proceed with caution."Kells said and I knocked on her door. The door opened and a there was a girl in front of me "Why are you guys here?" the girl said "Is Y/n Mendes here?"I asked and she nodded her head "may we come in. We'd like to see her" she closed the door "this bitch really just..."Camila said angry

"Bro what the...BRO WHAT THE FUCK LET US IN"Kells said knocking. "Let me in front"the girl answered the door and she faced Kells "aye. We came all the way from Cali to see y/n/n. The least you could do is let us in"she nodded her head and closed the door "she-she for real right now?" He said pissed off "oh for the love of- Y/N OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW"Selena said and the door opened again and the same bitch opened it again.

"Ms. Mendes isn't expecting anyone right now. So I'm gonna have to ask that you leave before I call security"she said "the hell you are. Y/N YOU BETTER GET THIS BITCH BEFORE I DO" Chantel said. "Chantel calm down" I said to her "wait...Chantel? Can you guys state your names?" We nodded our heads "My names Lex. That's Tati, Camila, Selena, Machine Gun Kelly, Ariana, Jess, Mclane and..."I was cut off "CHANTEL MOTHERFUCKING JEFFERIES"Chantel said

"Ohhh y'all were the ones she was telling me about"we nodded our heads and she let us in. "Who are you?"I asked "My names Taylor Hill. I'm Y/n's friend"she said and I raised an eyebrow at her "since when?" I said with attitude "since last week" she said and sat down "Y/N YOU HAVE VISITORS"we heard a set of foot steps and Y/n came in shocked "GUYS!! HEY WHATS UP?!" She said "yea she sure does look sad and tired Sel" Kells said and Selena hit him in the chest and he grunted

"Guys how did y'all know where I was?" She said while smiling. "Hey Y/n/n. I'm gonna get us some food from that one Chinese place. Want the usual?"Taylor asks Y/n and she nods her head and Taylor leaves with Y/n's car keys. "Well you disappeared from us for a whole week. So connect the dots Y/n"her smile fell. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys" she said "you should've called one of us Y/n before making this decision. You've never been to New York. This is your first time ever here"Selena said "call you? call. You....I DID...all of you" she then walked to the window with the amazing view of the city

"I called everyone one of you. You all were busy with your own lives." She said "still you could've waited to come here." I said. She chuckled bitterly "wait? You wanted me to wait until you weren't busy. When was the next time that was ever going to happen? Next month? Next year?" She said looking at the city still "god you all don't know how it feels to be the one always not included. I'm always to myself. Ariana is always in the studio. Selena is directing. Camila is doing I don't even know. Kells is partying. Chantel is always with diplo. Jess and Mclane are always doing something. And you and Tati are always vlogging." She then continued

"I've got no one to just say 'Hey come over let's just watch Netflix and eat junk food all day' or even a simple 'hey let's just hang out and lay down' it's always me wondering when the next person will be busy"she said looking at her fingers. "I came over here because I had nothing to do. I was always bored. I thought maybe if I went somewhere, I would get out of their hair."she said wiping a tear away. We all sat on the couch just looking down. Just feeling guilty.

"I remember when I had planned this for all of us. But that never happened."I then realized that she just wanted all of us to spend time all together. Or at least some of us. "Y/n.."she then interrupted me "I saw the Statue of Liberty today. She was beautiful. Just as I imagined. I made a new friend as well. Taylor. She had the option of going back to work in Cali a week ago but skipped it just to get to know me. Now we're practically best friends." She said while smiling. She then took her phone out and connected it to a mini projector.

"Look. I took some photos. Some by myself and some with Taylor"she went through them. Wow. She was doing so good. "This is me in front of the statue, this is me at the park on the swing..." then it got to her and Taylor "this is me and tay at the cafe with coffee mustaches, this is us with a big pizza, this is us with an animal...."she went on and on about her and Taylor and I felt so bad because Taylor gave Y/n something I've not given her for the past 3 years...time. We all smiled a little but they were sad smiles. We all felt guilty for making her feel this way.

"Um...well Y/n we can have a movie day. Now that all of us are here. We can plan the best trip ever."Jess said "Yea we can have a lot of candy. Like a lot." Camila said "and ice cream"Selena added "with onesies" Ariana added "with nerf gun battles"Mclane and Tati said "and we play video games all day"Chantel suggested "and take photos to remember it"I added "Come on it'll be just like old times"Kells said "sorry guys...me and Taylor are gonna go to Times Square and just take photos and go shopping"she said and my heart broke....I knew this feeling....
