~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~He couldn't fathom the fact that he liked her. He didn't understand how it was someone like her.
Y/N started work at the BAU 9 months ago and if first impressions are key, he didn't think she made a very good one. No particular reason, she just came off wrong.
She didn't like books. He has tried to talk to her about books. It didn't go well.
She was popular in high school, captain of the swim team, and she talked too much.
Spencer couldn't understand her short attention span. On days they did paperwork she had in earbud blasting music, the mix of hers and Morgan's music what something else. When they were on cases she'd bounce her leg. She couldn't sit still to save her life.
She was reckless while he was careful. She jumped to conclusions while he searched for every possible reason.
This is why Y/N thought he hater her.
He never looked at her. Never asked her questions.
"He hates me." She said to Garcia spinning in the chair as they were in the Bat Cave, eating an egg role.
"No he doesn't." Garcia said matter of factly.
"Penny he can't even look at me without hate in his eyes."
"Spencer can't hate anyone." JJ said walking in.
"Apparently he can. I don't get it. I've tried talking to him, I even bought that book he was talking about last week. I got 2 characters in and had already looked up like 20 words."
"Girl you got it bad." Garcia laughed.
"I know and he only sees me as an annoying co-worker, who probably shouldn't even be in the FBI."
"I don't think that." Spencer said from the door. He was listening the whole time.
"We'll leave you two alone?" JJ said and her and penny walked out the room.
"You're an amazing agent. Sure somethings you do I question. But I love your little quirks. That's what makes you you." He said. "Let me make it up to you."
I chuckled. "How?"
"Dinner tonight, pick you up at 7?"
"It's a date boy genius."
