Chapter 20

Hi, I'm so sorry. I have been really inactive, my sister got in a car accident and is in a coma. I have been in the hospital with my mom at her bedside. Please don't be mad, I'm going through a hard time. I am sorry if this is shitty, I haven't slept in hours. I'm so sorry.
Charli's POV:

"Hey Charls." my mom said as I answered the phone. "Hey mom, what's up? I asked concerned at the tone in her voice. "Dad got in an accident, he's in hospital." my mom said her voice cracking. I jumped up off my bed and Chase looked at me confused. "What?! No!" I said unable to process this information. I dropped my phone and collapsed on the floor sobbing. "Charli!" Chase said running over to me. He pulled me into his lap and let me cry. Then Dixie and Nick came in. She picked up my phone and started talking to my mom. Her face went pale and she stood there with a look of horror on her face. Nick came over and pulled her into a hug. "M-my d-d-dad j-just got in-in-into a-an a-accident." she said through sobs. Chase picked me up and lay me down on our bed then got in next to me and cuddled with me. I cried into his shirt leaving big wet patches. He didn't care though.
Chase's POV:

I didn't care that Charli was making my T-shirt wet, that's what boyfriends are there for. Having someone to love you no matter what and a shoulder to cry on. About an hour later the door opened. "Do you want to go back to Connecticut?" Dixie said walking in. She had a tear streaked face and her eyes were all red and puffy. "Yeah, I wanna see dad." Charli said looking up. "I'll come with you." I said hugging Charli. "I'll come too." Nick said kissing Dixie's forehead. They both nodded and Dixie and Nick left. For the rest of the night me and Charli just cuddled and watched movies.
If you read the part at the very top you'd understand why this is such a short chapter. I'm really sorry for not updating, I feel so bad. Also Charli is back in LA, if you saw the TikTok she posted of her going back to LA and seeing Chase, comment your reaction.
