When they were done with the introduction, they started learning. Rachael wasn't good in mathematics so it was difficult for her to understand what the teacher was saying and she couldn't ask questions because she was scared the class will laugh at her. After the maths lesson they went for recess. During the recess cynthia came to meet her because she was all alone, then they started a conversation. Cynthia asked were rachel lives but rachael didn't give her an answer. When school closed, Rachel waited for her mom to come and pick her but she didn't so cynthia told rachael to join her in her moms car. At first rachel refused but she remembered her mom had earlier told her she was going to visit a friend that she should find her way home, so rachael joined cynthia in their car.
While they were on their way to Rachael's house, cynthia asked rachael if she was the only child of her parents, Rachael said no that she has two younger siblings but they don't attend the same school. Cynthia also asked rachael if they could be friends, after a little thinking rachael said yes. This was the begining of their friendship and enmity.
When they arrived at Rachael's house Cynthia couldn't believe her eyes she stared at the house for about 2 minutes then she turned to rachel and asked is this your house? Rachel answered yes that they just moved recently into the house, she also asked the kind of work her parents do, rachel just said her dad works in an oil company that she doesn't really know the work he does but her mom recently resigned from a bank. Though Cynthia's house was big but not big as Rachael's house. Rachael came down from the car thanked Cynthia's mom and waved Cynthia goodbye then she entered her house.
