Shall we dance?

Yukio was explaining a lesson when a teacher went in and announced a dance here in the academy, "Good morning students, there will be a dance next Monday. You have to pick someone as your 'date' or escort for the dance, the motif is formal, so be sure to prepare." And the teacher left. Everyone was murmuring, You noticed Shiemi staring at Rin, "R-r-r-rin? Would you go with me to the d-d-dance?" Shiemi asked. The worst happened, "Of course! Why not?"

You felt sadness and betrayal, then a voice interrupted your thoughts, "(Y/N), do you want to go to the dance with me?" It was Yukio. You had no other choice, and you also had a crush on him, you couldn't say no, "Of course! I don't want to go with anyone else besides you... Since....." "Since what?"

You didn't want to tell him, "Nevermind....." "What time should I meet with you?" "I'll just knock on your door! Since our rooms are close to each other!" "Ok." Then Yukio turned his attention to the whole class, "Alright then, let's continue with the lesson?" Then he continued the boring discussion as you slumped in your seat thinking why didn't Rin want to ask you? Did he still like Shiemi?

You woke up and started to get ready for the day, the day you hoped that would never come. You wanted to confront Rin but didn't have the courage, you were scared to know the truth. You got dressed, ate breakfast, and headed to school. You walked the halls and entered the classroom, you headed over to where Shima and Komekomaru were talking, and sat down.

"Good morning Shima! Good morning Koneko-kun!" You smiled happily. "Shima, can I talk to you for a while?" You asked. "Sure." You dragged him outside, "This is private, ok? Don't tell anyone the details of this conversation. Especially Rin." He nodded. "Is this about Rin (Y/n)-chan?" You nodded in response and continued, "Does he still have feelings for Shiemi?" You said. "I can't really say...... But..... They have been very close...." Shima replied. "Thanks, bye." He was no help, you left and went inside the classroom and prepared for the first subject.

~time skip! Since the lessons are boring....~
You got up from your seat and went to the dorm. You got changed into your special dress you saved for an occasion like this. You headed to Yukio and Rin's room and knocked, you opened the door revealing a shirtless Rin and a well groomed Yukio.

You blushed and closed the door quickly. After a few minutes, Rin opened the door and led you inside. You couldn't help but blush, you haven't seen Rin so well dressed before. You tried your best to ignore your feelings for Rin, but..... You couldn't. No matter how much you try to hate him, you can't help but feel something for him. You thought it was better if you ignored him for a while, until you lost your feelings for him. But it was harder than you thought. You weren't looking forward to the dance at all.... But you didn't expect that something would happen at the dance which will determine Rin's true feelings for you, and prove you wrong.
