chapter two- reactions

Nialls pov

As we got towards the door of the hospital a group of 5 nurses and a doctor came running to us. They all looked panicked and started asking me loads of questions such as " Mr Horan how long has she been like this? " I honestly didn't know the answers to anything they were asking me apart from what she had taken. That was obvious as u still had the empty boxes in my hoodie pocket. I just looked at them with a blank expression on my face as the tears at the corners of my eyes trying to escape. As we got inside the doctor shouted to a porter get her to ICU now. My heart was pounding against my chest as we made the never ending lift journey to ICU. We arrived courtneys lifeless body was rolled on to a bed she was then hooked up to lots of machines. Why did she do this? I asked myself repeatedly. I already knew the answer then horrible cyber bullies. They have hurt my best friend its not fair. I checked my phone seeing as it had been franticly vibrating in my pocket since the ambulance ride. All four of the boys texted back at the same time. They are all on their way. I'm hoping they arrive soon i can't do this by myself. Around an hour later the same doctors who sent her to ICU came into the room and started to explain everything to me. " Courtney has taken lots of paracetamol Mr Horan and because of the amount she has taken she has slipped into a coma. At this precise moment we don't know how long she will be in a coma for we are very sorry Mr Horan. Please feel free to ask me any questions if you have any I'll be around all day" with that the doctor left I just broke down in tears. I heard the footsteps outside the door the boys were here. Louis came over to me first and just looked at her body and did not say a word and he just came and sat with me and gave me a reasoning hug the other boys did the same. We were all sat in silence Zayn broke the silence by looking at me and saying " Niall what happened mate? " I just looked at him and began to cry. I did not understand why Courtney was getting loads of hate she has not even done anything wrong. I needed to make a statement about her before it got leeked by the press me and the other boys went outside the hospital and filmed a video explaining everything then we put it everywhere on the Internet. We were all half asleep when we heard a vibrating sound. It was my phone I had a text from Ed.

The text said:

Hi Niall mate I hope Courtney is alright I've just seen your video on twitter. I tweeted her this morning and told the haters to stop. I seriously hope she will get better soon. Send her my love

I just looked at the text and I decided i was not in the right frame of mind to reply I was tired hungry and emotional. I decided to try and get some sleep the other boys had gone to get Courtneys stuff from the apartment. I awkwardly woke up holding Courtneys hand. Suddenly I realised that the boys were there and they had food. I let go of Courtneys hand and gently placed it back on her body. Trust the boys to get nandos. I do love them a lot though i don't know where I'd be without them. Liam, Harry and Zayn decided to go home but me an and Louis decided to stay and watch Courtney.

Louis pov

Me,Zayn,Harry and Liam all arrived at the hospital. We jumped out of the taxi and paid the driver and ran inside we went to the main reception and asked where can we find Courtney Thompson. The receptionist raided her eyebrows and said "ITU room 15." We all said thank you and smiled and waked away towards the lift. ITU is on the highest floor of the hospital the receptionist shouted. I turned and smiled at her. We reached ITU we found room 15 we were all so nervous of what Courtney will look like and poor Niall how he would be feeling. I was the first one to walk it I looked at her pale body all tired and limp. I walked over to Niall and gave him a long hard squeeze the other boys followed we all sat together at her bedside. Niall decided we needed to make a statement before Courtneys story got leeked to the press. We all agreed and went outside to film the statement video. After filming Niall put it all over the Internet. Me and the other boys then decided to go to the apartment and grab Courtneys things we got some dinner on the way back to the hospital. We got back to find Niall asleep holding on to Courtneys hand. We tried to be ast quiet as possible but he woke up and gently put her hand back to its original position he then came and got some food. The boys went back to the apartment me and Niall decided to stay with are sleeping beauty.
