Chapter 5: the mall with you?

The next day Caleb and I walked in together holding hands and people looked at us! But, Megan was furious. at lunch I told Caleb I had to use the bathroom so I walked in and knew that Megan and her "CLIQUE" was in there. When Megan saw me she whispered something to her girls and walked over to me. I was a little scared but she said" hey Gabi, looks like your little miss popular?" I said"well at least I know how to be popular, instead of people just liking me for my looks!" And I walked away(or Tried to anyway) she grabbed my shoulder and turned my around and said" sorry I'm just not used to people being..." "what" I asked. "Being prettier than me.". Wow she actually just admitted that. "I'm sorry I was being so rude." I said. "Oh I it was all me. Would you like to go to the mall with us this afternoon?" Megan asked. "Uh yah but I'd have to go home first. Would you like to come with me?" I asked. "Yah that'd be cool". So after school I found Megan and showed the way to the limo. When I told her that was mine she froze and her eyes widened. "What" I asked a little confused. I mean it's Cali for goodness sacks. "Umm I've never been in a ll-imo before". That's weird. "ok well my dad is the owner of all the construction businesses in cali, my mom is fashion designer in New York and so I'm a little rich." "a little?" she asked. I nodded and opened the limo door. When we got to my house she acted like someone with a gun was standing in front of her. Her expression was priceless.
