bread. (hyunjin, heejin)

四 : bully

starting that night, heejin took care of hyunjin. she would talk to her a lot, share some jokes, and trying to convince hyunjin to live more. it's just been months but the both of them were close. hyunjin's kinda changing, she's smiling and would laugh on heejin's dorky jokes. heejin wanted hyunjin to forget about her past, and start a new life with her. heejin knew hyunjin's depressed, and she wanted to help her out of it.

heejin can remember what happened days ago. after heejin's work, she saw hyunjin almost cutting her wrist and crying, good thing she immediately went onto hyunjin and tried to make her calm. she also remembered the day she brought hyunjin in the bakery, hyunjin was kinda scared of people, she even almost freaked out. and then last two days ago, hyunjin tried to hang herself in which heejin stopped her again.

now, heejin was even motivated to take care of hyunjin more. she always make hyunjin comfortable and happy. she would even brought a bag of breads just for hyunjin since it's her favorite. she had also bought two cheap phones in case of emergency, or hyunjin needed her when she's on work.

both of them are helping each other. hyunjin wanted to change and get out of that depression. she wanted to fight, but sometimes she can't. she would always thought on killing herself but then heejin's smiling face would appear on her mind, stopping her on doing something like that.

"hyunjin, do you want some ice cream?" heejin asked, smiling from ear to ear. hyunjin let out a short chuckled, nodding before she said, "yes."

heejin patted her back before going in to the ice cream parlor. hyunjin waited on a bench, playing her feet as she just stared on heejin's back. at the middle of waiting, she saw one of her classmates, grinning at her playfully that made her scared.

she was even more intensed when one of them went to her, rolling her eyes as she smiled sarcastically. "look's who's her, it's kim hyunjin everyone." seyou, one of her classmates started.

hyunjin felt nervous, secretly praying for heejin's presence, but the girl was no where to found. she looked down, almost bursting into tears. her mean classmates kept on telling unwanted words, making hyunjin frightened. she covered her ears using her both hands, doesn't want to hear a word.

"hyunjin, wake up!" a voice was heard. "hyunjin, it's me! heejin!" the voice felt familiar, making hyunjin open her eyes and look above, as she saw heejin's worried and crying face. heejin immediately hugged her, mumbling "i'm sorry" multiple times.

"i'm sorry. i'm really sorry, it's my fault. if i didn't left you there to buy an ice cream, you wouldn't be frightened. i'm very sorry." heejin really sounded sorry, and regrets it. hyunjin smiled, reassuring heejin that she's okay. but heejin kept on apologizing, making hyunjin see how important she is towards heejin.

"it's okay." hyunjin faced heejin, "i'm better now. can you buy me a bread? i want it plain and hot."
