" hey Maddie!" Carly exclaimed - practically yelling at the parking lot of Ridgewood High- " hey Carly" i mumbled- Carly came from a rich family she practically got everything she ever wanted!. But, she was still my best friend -.
" what's up?, you got in a fight with Brad or something?" she asked curiously " it's nothing really" i grinned at her, but as usually she saw through me. " seriously! you know you can't lie to me, spill the beans or else!" she said trying to make whatever it was bothering me go away and it worked.
" Or else what? " I said
" or else i am going to ask Braidy myself " she said and she knocked the breath right out of me - she always knew how to make me talk-. " to be honest i hate my life!" i began to cry and even though she was shorter than me, she could still give me a warm hug. " sorry I asked, we should probably head to class before we get in another detention" she said.
" HEY CARLY, hope you missed me! cause i missed you" James Wesley said giving carly a warm morning kiss - oh God i could barf! -
" hey Maddie, how you doing?" James asked - i don't know why I never liked him, i guess he just irritated me - then they started kissing again wait, not kissing they were making out - great!! another reason to barf! -
" isn't he just the cutest thing " she said blushing I just rolled my eyes and gave her a look that made her laugh.
At fifth period i sat with Braidy, Carly , James and a few of my other friends.
" Mr. Sean went on and on about this dumb poet Shakespeare. I am starting to get irritated of every time i hear his name" Carly said i sat next to Brady he didn't even say a word the entire time. I glared at him and then he caught me staring he looked like he wanted to say something but, he changed his mind and looked away. jeez , what is with him?
" what is with you" she asked me. Not noticing she kinda said it in a harsh way.
" nothing" i lied and gave her a grin. " why are you asking?"
" you look terrible that's why." she said
" WOW! Carly you're making her feel so much better!!" Silvia said coming to my defence.
" what! not in that way Maddie, i meant you looked all grey!" she said
" How nice.." Silvia sarcastically comments.
" no! she just looked better this morning and -"
" CARLY! would you lay off the insults? YOUR BESTIE IS RIGHT HER YA KNOW! " . Silvia whispered yelled at her. causing me to laugh at how jenny is practically asking for a death wish.
I immediately stop laughing when i glance at Braidy, he was nodding his head towards the exit - meaning we should go - when i glance at him once more before standing he gives me this look, a look i haven't seen since i first transferred to Wridgewood. A DEATH GLARE.....
