[Anonymous said: Hi sweetie! I was wondering if I could request a comfort imagine with Tomioka? I was thinking something along the lines of his s/o grew up with a crappy step father and still feels the weight of that? Like having to explain where they're going, have been etc etc. If you're not feeling up to it feel free to ignore honey 🍯❤️]

It was late at night, the moon high in the sky showing off a perfect crescent and there was barely any sound except that of soft crying. You were sitting on the porch outside of your room and the tears wouldn't stop. 'Why, I never cry. This is stupid. He's stupid, the bastard.' You were wrapped in your blanket since it was freezing outside. The stars shone bright but everything was blurry because of your tear filled eyes, but then something starting to form. It looked like a bird, then it become the shape of a person. You blinked and wiped the tears away but when you looked back up at the sky nothing was there.

"Why are you crying?" That voice, it's not- When you looked to the side, there he was. Giyuu Tomioka, he was facing towards your room and didn't look down at you. Your voice was hoarse from crying but you managed to answer him. "I-I keep thinking about my-my step father." You looked back down at the ground, "He was a jerk and always said mean things to me. He would always say I'm useless and that I wouldn't amount to anything." The tears started coming back and Giyuu quickly noticed. He suddenly appeared in front of you, leaning in close. His eyes were looking into yours, the navy blue color looked like an ocean during a storm. "Stop crying, he doesn't matter anymore." That was kinda harsh but it was the truth. After you left your home and became a demon slayer you never saw your step father again.

"I r-really can't..." You were about to rub your eyes but Giyuu put his hand under your chin, forcing you to look at him. "Yes you can, all wounds can heal and there will be scars if the wound is too deep. You can either show off the scar and remember it as something of the past or remember the pain it caused you and continue to suffer." He looked away for a second and the memory came back to him. "I learned that the hard way." His sister was sweet and kind, her fate wasn't deserved. You took quick notice to Giyuu's emotions and slowly put your arms around him, bringing him into a hug. He was surprised but Giyuu clung onto you. He didn't know why but tears started forming in his eyes as well.
