You could remember that day so vividly. It was a day you could never forget, since it changed your life forever.
*Flashback*
You were at mall, looking for a good present to give your older brother for his birthday. You seem to be wondering the whole entire mall, but yet to find anything that he might like. You were about to give up when you came across this unusually hat store, that sold all sorts of hats. You walked in, and as always the employes greeted you with their fake smile. It didn’t take long till you notice the snapbacks, and you knew that it was going to be a perfect present. You had your eyes set on a dark green one, with light green four-leaf clovers all over it. You weren’t Irish, but your brother had this weird thing with four-leaf clovers, he claims that they bring him good luck or whatever. You were on your tippy toes, hands already holding onto the tip of the cap, when you realize you weren’t the only one holding onto it. Still not letting go, you turn to the person who also had a taste of hats that involved four-leaf clovers. You stood there dumbfounded, the guy was incredibly cute. His hair was almost brown and he had the most dreamiest blue eyes you have ever seen. “Oh sorry miss, did you want to get this too? Here you can have it.” he said with a thick Irish accent. This completely explains the whole four-leaf clover ordeal. “Oh no-“, you were stopped in the middle of your sentence when a kid behind you pushed you forward, causing you to fall on top of the cutie. Your face flushed tomato, red as you felt his arms wrap securely around you. “Are you okay?” He asked with so much concern. “Uh yeah, I’m fine. Here, you can have the snapback, I’m sure I can find something else to give my brother.” You said, embarrassed. Not even letting him reply back, you let go of the hat and ran out of the store, hoping to never see him again.
It had been around 30 minutes since you left the adorable Irish fellow, but still you couldn’t help but wonder if he really did buy the hat. You were exiting the mall, empty-handed, when you felt someone tap your shoulder. You turned around, to see the breathless, but still cute Irish fellow. “Ahh, it’s a good thing I caught up to you!” He said trying to catch his breathe. You couldn’t help but smile a bit at him. “Well here. I wanted to give you this.” He handed you a dark blue plastic bag. “No, I can’t.” You said shyly, giving him the bag. “No, I insist!” He pushed back the bag, and within an instance he ran and left before you could even give it back. As you watched him disappear, you rummage through the bag, it had the hat inside, but you notice something else. There was a note with horrible handwriting but still legible. Umm, this may seem awkward… but I really think you’re cute. Call me sometime? -Niall xx You looked lower on the piece of paper and you read his number over and over in your head, trying to make sure that you weren’t dreaming.
*Flashback Over*
Meg, weren’t you suppose to give that to you brother for his birthday like forever ago?” your cute Irish boyfriend asked. You just gave him a smile, and went back to admiring the dark green snapback, covered with four-leaf clovers
