Small Village

On the last episode of Dragon ba- Oh wait wrong thing.

Ahem. On the last issue of Stranded we left off with out four Troopers Rigs, Bind, Ranger, and Twist leaving their crashed LA-AT to go and search for civilization so they can contact their Republic Cruiser. Have they gotten close to civilization?  Well we'll see right now. . .

A soft breeze can be heard as it shows the vast desert now zooming in. Slowly faint panting can be heard the closer it zoomed in. Now the clones are in view Rigs and Bind had leaned Ranger and Twist against a rock They seemed to have walking for quiet awhile the two are completely out of breath.

"Stay here I'm gonna climb this rock and have a look around."

❝ Alright I'll stay here with the other and catch my breath. ❞

Rigs slowly climbs up the rock the sound of his armor scraping against it made quite the noise, but it didn't bother any of the others. Once Rigs got up to the top he pulled out his binoculars. Now looking around the horizon surveying the area. Soon spotting a few houses in the distance. The trooper's eyes widened under his helmet.

"Bind I see a a few houses north about 20 klicks."

❝ Really? ❞

"Yea. Once we get there we can ask if they use something to contact the cruiser or at least a map of the area."

❝ Good idea❞

Putting the binoculars away Rigs began to climb back down as Bind would slowly get Ranger ready to go.

"Suns about to set. We should try to make our way there quickly."

Once Rigs got down he quickly made his way to Twist helping him up.

"Seems Twist is getting his strength back."

❝ Good then you can start actually using your rifle.❞

"Yea now lets get going."

They began making their way to the houses as fast as they can. It took a few minutes but they finally got there. Ranger and Twist laid against something again.

"Alright I'll go talk to one of the citizens. You stay here a guard these two."

❝ Yea yea I'll do it.❞

Rigs nods and walks to one of the houses knocking on the door. A minute passed . . . someone finally opened the door! Rigs began talking to the couple.

Meanwhile back to Bind and the others. Ranger would appear to be waking up.

Ranger: "Ugh... What happened..? Where are we?"
Bind: "Ah finally awake I see."
Ranger: "Oh shut it Bind."

Bind would chuckle a bit then he explained what happened and their Situation. Ranger sighs a bit hear all of this.

Ranger: "So where is Rigs?"
Bind: "He's Talking to one of the people to see if they can help us."
Ranger: "Ah alright. I see Twist is still there barely holding consciousness."
Bind: "Yea he took quiet the beating in the crash."

Rigs soon came out whistling to Bind motioning him to bring the others. With a nod Bind picks up Twist.

Bind:" You can stand right Ranger?"
Ranger:"Yea I'll be fine."

Slowly getting up with a few grunts as he dose. Now slowly walking to to Rigs, Bind following right behind.

"Nice to see someone is up again. Now head in guys these folks are gonna let us stay the night and then bring us to a nearby town in the morning."

The scene soon starting to fade out as the four entered the house.

???: "What the hell do you mean that he's dead?!"

???: "Look I don't know what happened I just heard the blaster fire ran and came to see him dead!"
