My new workshop has been set up. Beforetoday I only have studied books about dragons. Everything I need isin here: components of a dragon, tomes about magic to control onesmind (which is actually dark and forbidden magic), various chemicalsand herbs.

To craft life anew.

Somehow I feel nauseous. This might bebecause I know this child will know only war and destruction. Can Ireally doom this child to such a fate?

No, I have to focus on the task. For mywife I shall become a monster that turns a child to a weapon.

There are two major sides to eachliving being: the body as a vessel and the soul as the guide. Ifthere is no soul the body is nothing more than an empty shell, acorpse so to speak. The weapon would be far easier to control as anempty shell. It would not even be a living being, feeling no pain, having no remorse. The perfect weapon.

There is only one problem.

The vessel has no soul it does notfunction as it should. The flesh will rot. The weapon would bedestroyed by itself in the matter of days. When reanimating the deathnecromancers summon ghost or specters to speak with and rottingcorpses or skeletons as soldiers to fight for them. A necrodragon canbe summoned by them, but it is weaker than a living dragon. Thiswould be beside the point and needs a very skilled necromancer. Theseare rather rare in a country that frowns at necromancy.

Maybe there is a way to control avessel without letting it's flesh rot.

I really hope there is. Necromancy isfar better than turning a child into a weapon.
