I was so giddy and smiley when I got to school Kame thought I’d taken some Joker laughing gas(some comic humor). “Kame, my cousin is going to take the whole team and I up to his college and help train us. I mean, we’re already pretty good, but he’s also gonna train me!”

“If you don’t mind me asking, why is he gonna train you?”

“Huh. Good point. I guess because Momoi told him to I guess.” A bolt seemed to go right through me. I grabbed my now fiery cheeks. “Do-do you think she told him to because she wanted me to get closer to Daiki-kun?!” Kame grabbed my shoulders and looked me dead in the eyes and said, “Most definitely.”

“Baka! How is that supposed to help me.” I cried as we entered the locker room to the gym. As we changed Kame said, “I didn’t say it would help. I merely stated the fact that Momoi probable spilled everything to you cousin. I know I would~” She teased. I sighed. What was I going to do! Then the perfect comeback came to mind.

“Well, I’ll bet that when I’m gone you’ll be trying to get Midorima to be your boyfriend.” Kame’s face was inflamed with a blush. I pushed a little farther. “Oh, yes, I can see it now. You two holding hands on a picnic blanket as the sun sets. Then he’ll lean in telling you how wonderful and lovely you are and then...” I made a smooching sound with my lips. “You kiss til the cows come home!” I giggled at the horrifyingly pink face Kame had.

“That’s--that’s nothing like what Midorima and I have planned for this weekend!” I stopped right in my tracks. “You mean you guys are actually going out? Together?” I asked in shock. “Y-yeah. I was gonna tell ya but, I didn’t want you to think poorly of me or anything....” I smiled.

“You silly goose. Come on. Get you hair tied up, we need to get out there before we get in trouble. By the way, could you come over before I’m picked up to go to the college?”

“Sorry, I’ve got to help with dinner tonight.” I nodded, in total understanding as we left the locker room. Little did we know that a certain pinkette was listening in on the whole thing with a devilish smile on her face.

Time skip

“Aw, nothing ever happens in here when I want it to.” I sighed as I set my head on the desk. Just as I was beginning to think that the boredom was going to consume me the bell on the door rang. I looked up to see a man with a baggy beige jacket on. He had dark hair and a matching mustache. I also couldn’t see his eyes because of the big, black sunglasses he had on.

“Hello sir. Is there anything I can help you with.” I said, with a smile. The man jumped as if he didn’t notice me til now. “U-uh, yes. I-I’m... looking for a book... for my niece!” Wow, this man is really jumpy.

“Well what does your niece like? Any kind of genre she prefers?” I asked.

“She likes.... romance novels... I think. There’s one that she really wants and I can’t remember the name of it.”

“Well, what’s it about? I’ve read every book in here. I can probably find it.” I said, as I ushered him to the romance section.

“Uh-umm... A dark price that captures the heart of some shy girl.” I was shocked. “I know exactly what your talking about.” I smiled as I looked at the top shelf. I jumped and grabbed it off the shelf. “Here you are sir. I hope she likes it.” I said, as I offered him the book. “Who?”

I looked at him skeptically. “Your niece. I hope she’ll like the book.”

“Oh! Right, yeah.” I escorted him to register and rung up the book. All the while I could feel his eyes on me. When I handed him the book and asked, “Is there anything else I can help you with sir?”
